2. Compatibility
These stabilizers are designed to fit most bicycles with wheel sizes ranging from 24" to 29", including 700c bikes. The adjustable brackets accommodate various frame shapes.
2.1. Bikes That Fit:
- Bicycles with wheel sizes from 24 inches to 29 inches.
- 700c bicycles.
- Bikes with standard frame designs where the rear stays meet the specified dimensions.
2.2. Bikes That Do NOT Fit:
The stabilizers are not suitable for all bicycle types. Please review the following conditions:
- Bicycles with dual suspension frames.
- Bicycles with a chain guard that obstructs the mounting area.
- Bicycles where the frame's upper rear stays are wider than 26mm.
- Bicycles where the frame's lower rear stays are wider than 30mm.
- Electric or any motorized bikes.

3. Package Contents
The package includes the following components:
- Adjustable Adult Bicycle Stabilizers (PRODCUT)
- Mounting hardware (bolts, nuts, washers, plastic caps)
- Instruction manual
4. Setup & Installation
Follow these steps to properly install the CyclingDeal Adjustable Adult Bicycle Stabilizers on your bike.
4.1. Tools Required:
- 10mm wrench/socket
- 17-18mm wrench/socket
- Allen key (appropriate size for the wheel axle bolts)
4.2. Installation Steps:
- Identify Left and Right Brackets: The stabilizer brackets are marked with 'R' for the right side of the bike and 'L' for the left side. Ensure you use the correct bracket for each side.
- Attach Brackets to Bike Frame:
- Position the brackets on the rear wheel stays of your bicycle. The design accommodates both vertical and horizontal sections of the frame.
- The wider bolts are intended for the bottom attachment points, and the skinnier bolts for the top attachment points.
- Initially, hand-tighten all bolts to allow for adjustment.

- Adjust Bracket Position: Adjust the height and position of the brackets to ensure they clear all bike hardware (e.g., derailleur, chain). The goal is to have the training wheels slightly off the ground when the bike is upright, allowing for a slight lean before the training wheels engage.
- Secure Brackets: Once the optimal position is found, fully tighten all mounting bolts using the appropriate wrenches. Ensure the brackets are firmly secured and do not wobble.
- Install Wheels:
- Attach the training wheels to the stabilizer arms.
- Use an Allen key on one side of the wheel axle and a ratchet on the other to tighten the axle bolts.
- Tighten until the wheel spins freely but without any wobble.

- Inflate Tires: Inflate the training wheel tires to approximately 35 PSI.
- Install Plastic Caps: Place the provided plastic/rubber caps over any exposed bolt ends to prevent injury and protect the bolts.

5. Operating Instructions
The stabilizers are designed to assist with balance and provide confidence while riding. They are not meant to keep the bike perfectly upright at all times, but rather to prevent tipping over. The bike should still be able to lean slightly into turns.
- Riding Posture: Maintain a natural riding posture. The stabilizers will engage if the bike leans too far, providing support.
- Turning: Be aware that the added width of the stabilizers may require wider turns. Avoid sharp turns at high speeds.
- Surface: While the quality rubber tires are designed for bumpy roads, always ride on appropriate surfaces and avoid extreme off-road conditions.

6. Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and safe operation of your stabilizers.
- Check Tightness: Periodically check all bolts and nuts for tightness, especially after the first few rides. Re-tighten as necessary.
- Tire Pressure: Regularly check and maintain tire pressure at approximately 35 PSI.
- Inspect for Wear: Inspect the wheels, tires, and brackets for any signs of wear, damage, or corrosion. Replace worn or damaged parts immediately.
- Cleaning: Clean the stabilizers with a damp cloth and mild soap. Avoid harsh chemicals that may damage the finish.
7. Troubleshooting
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Bike feels unstable or tips easily. | Stabilizers are set too high or too low; loose mounting bolts. | Adjust the height of the stabilizers so they are slightly off the ground (approx. 1-2 inches) when the bike is upright. Ensure all mounting bolts are securely tightened. |
| Training wheels do not spin freely or wobble. | Axle bolts are too tight or too loose. | Adjust the tightness of the axle bolts. They should be tight enough to prevent wobble but loose enough for the wheel to spin freely. |
| Difficulty turning or wide turning radius. | Normal operation due to added width; stabilizers set too low. | This is expected. Practice wider turns. Ensure stabilizers are not set too low, which can restrict natural bike lean. |
| Tires frequently go flat. | Puncture or valve issue; improper inflation. | Inspect tires for punctures and repair/replace if necessary. Ensure proper tire pressure is maintained. |
