3. Product Overview

3.1 Receiver Unit

The receiver unit features controls for power, individual microphone volume, and buttons for menu navigation and frequency adjustment (ADD). An IR sensor is present for syncing microphones. The display shows channel, group, and frequency information for both Mic A and Mic B.

3.2 Handheld Microphones

Each handheld microphone is constructed with a durable metal body and features an A18 voice mic head for clear audio capture. A power/mute switch is located on the microphone body, along with a battery indicator display. Each microphone operates on 4 AA batteries.

4. Setup Instructions

  1. Connect Antennas: Connect the two antennas to the BNC connectors on the rear of the receiver. Ensure they are securely twisted into place.
  2. Power Connection: Connect the power adapter to the DC IN port on the receiver and plug it into a power outlet.
  3. Audio Output: For audio output, connect the receiver to your audio mixer or amplifier using either the individual XLR outputs for Mic A and Mic B, or the mixed 1/4'' output.
  4. Microphone Batteries: Install 4 AA batteries into each handheld microphone. Observe correct polarity.
  5. Power On: Power on the receiver and then the microphones.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Power On/Off

Press the power button on the receiver to turn it on or off. For microphones, use the ON/OFF/MUTE switch located on the microphone body.

5.2 Automatic Frequency Scan

To find the clearest available frequency, press the 'MENU' button on the receiver to access the auto-scan function. The system will automatically search for and select an optimal frequency from 100 selectable channels for each microphone. Once a frequency is selected, use the IR sync function to pair the microphone with the receiver by aligning their IR sensors.

5.3 Manual Frequency Pairing

If multiple systems are in use or specific frequencies are required, you can manually set the channel number. Follow the receiver's menu options to select a desired frequency for Mic A or Mic B, then use the IR sync to pair the microphone.

5.4 Frequency Lock Function

To prevent accidental changes to the selected frequency, long-press the 'ADD' button on the receiver. This will lock the frequency settings, indicated on the display.

5.5 Power Memory Function

The system retains its last used settings after being powered off and restores them when turned back on, enhancing convenience and reducing setup time for recurring use.

6. Maintenance

  • Battery Replacement: Replace microphone batteries (4 AA per mic) when the battery indicator shows low power to ensure optimal performance and prevent unexpected shutdowns.
  • Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the receiver and microphones. Avoid using liquid cleaners or abrasive materials.
  • Storage: When not in use for extended periods, remove batteries from the microphones and store the system in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.

7. Troubleshooting

  • No Sound or Low Volume:
    • Ensure the receiver and microphones are powered on.
    • Check battery levels in the microphones and replace if low.
    • Verify all audio cables are securely connected between the receiver and your external audio equipment.
    • Adjust volume levels on both the receiver and your external audio equipment (mixer/amplifier).
  • Interference or Dropouts:
    • The system offers 100 selectable frequencies per channel to avoid interference. Use the automatic frequency scan feature to find a clear channel.
    • If interference persists, manually select a different channel.
    • Ensure a clear line-of-sight between the microphones and the receiver, avoiding large metal objects or other wireless devices that may cause interference. The optimal working range is 180-240 feet (60-80 meters) line-of-sight.
  • Microphone Not Pairing:
    • Ensure the microphone's IR sensor is aligned with the receiver's IR sensor during the pairing process.
    • Repeat the auto-scan and pairing steps carefully.
