- To charge, place the radio (with battery installed) into the charging cradle. Ensure the charging contacts on the radio align with those on the cradle.
- Connect the charger adapter to a power outlet. The charging indicator light on the cradle will show charging status (typically red for charging, green for fully charged).
- A full charge typically takes several hours. Do not overcharge the battery.

Rotate the Power/Volume knob (top-left knob) clockwise to turn the radio on. Continue rotating clockwise to increase the volume. Rotate counter-clockwise to decrease the volume and turn the radio off.
2. Channel Selection
Rotate the Channel Switch knob (top-right knob) to select one of the 16 available channels. Ensure all radios intended for communication are set to the same channel.
3. Transmitting and Receiving (PTT)

Press the dedicated Flashlight button on the side of the radio to activate the built-in LED flashlight for illumination in low-light conditions.
8. Low Battery Alarm
The radio is equipped with a low battery alarm feature that will alert you when the battery level is critically low, indicating that charging is required.
Maintenance
- Cleaning: Use a soft, damp cloth to clean the radio's exterior. Do not use harsh chemicals or solvents.
- Battery Care: Store batteries in a cool, dry place. Avoid fully discharging Li-ion batteries for extended periods.
- Storage: When not in use for long periods, remove the battery and store the radio in a dry, dust-free environment.
- Antenna: Do not bend or modify the antenna, as this can affect performance.
Troubleshooting
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| No power | Battery discharged or improperly installed. | Charge the battery. Ensure the battery is correctly installed. |
