Setup
- Unpacking: Carefully remove all packaging materials and accessories. Retain packaging for future storage or shipping.
- Initial Cleaning: Before first use, wash the inner pot, sealing ring, and all accessories with warm, soapy water. Wipe the exterior of the cooker base with a damp cloth. Ensure all parts are completely dry before assembly.
- Placement: Place the pressure cooker on a stable, level, heat-resistant surface away from heat sources and direct sunlight. Ensure adequate clearance around the unit for proper ventilation.
- Power Connection: Plug the power cord into a grounded electrical outlet. The display will illuminate, indicating the unit is in standby mode.
Operating Instructions
1. Adding Ingredients and Closing the Lid
- Place the inner pot into the cooker base. Add your ingredients, ensuring not to exceed the MAX fill line for liquids or the 2/3 line for solid foods (1/2 line for foods that expand, like rice or beans).
- Align the lid with the base and turn it clockwise until it locks into place. Ensure the steam release handle is set to the "Sealing" position.
2. Selecting a Cooking Program
The COSORI CP018-PC offers 17 preset cooking programs. Simply press the desired program button on the control panel (e.g., "Meat Stew", "Poultry", "Rice"). The default cooking time and pressure level for that program will be displayed.

3. Adjusting Time and Pressure
- To adjust the cooking time, press the "Cook Time" button and use the "+" or "-" buttons to increase or decrease the time.
- To adjust the pressure level, press the "Pressure/Temp" button and use the "+" or "-" buttons to cycle through the available pressure settings (Low, Medium, High).
- For manual control, press the "Manual" button, then set your desired pressure and time.
4. Starting and Finishing Cooking
- Once settings are confirmed, press the "On/Start" button to begin cooking. The cooker will preheat and then begin the pressure cooking cycle.
- After cooking is complete, the unit will beep and automatically switch to "Keep Warm" mode.
5. Releasing Pressure
- Natural Release: Allow the pressure to release naturally. This is recommended for foods with high liquid content or those that foam. The float valve will drop when pressure is fully released.
- Quick Release: Carefully turn the steam release handle to the "Venting" position. Steam will rapidly escape. Keep hands and face away from the steam. The float valve will drop when pressure is fully released.
- Only open the lid once the float valve has dropped and all pressure has been released.

Cleaning and Maintenance
