4. Safety Information

5. Setup

5.3 Attaching Barndoors

Align the four-leaf metal barndoors with the front accessory slot of the Fresnel lens. Slide them into place until they are securely seated. The barndoors allow you to shape and control the light beam.

5.4 Power Connection

Connect the provided power cable to the power input port on the rear of the Light Cannon F-165. Plug the other end into a grounded AC power outlet (100-240V, 50/60Hz).

6. Operating Instructions

6.1 Powering On/Off

Locate the power switch on the rear panel of the unit. Flip the switch to the 'ON' position to power on the light. The LCD display will illuminate. Flip to 'OFF' to power down.

6.2 Adjusting Brightness (Dimming)

Use the 'DIM' control knob on the rear panel to adjust the light intensity from 0% to 100%. The current dimming percentage will be displayed on the LCD screen.

6.3 Adjusting Color Temperature

Use the 'COLOR TEMP' control knob to change the color temperature from 3000K (warm) to 8000K (cool). The selected color temperature will be shown on the LCD screen.

6.4 Fan Control

The Light Cannon F-165 features a fan for cooling. For silent operation, you can switch the fan to 'OFF' via the dedicated switch. Note that turning the fan off will reduce the maximum light output to 50% to prevent overheating. For full output, ensure the fan is 'ON'.

6.5 DMX Operation

For remote control, connect a DMX controller to the 'DMX IN' 5-pin XLR port on the rear of the unit. Use the 'DMX OUT' port to daisy-chain multiple DMX-compatible lights. Refer to your DMX controller's manual for specific addressing and channel assignments.

6.6 Spot/Flood Mechanism

Adjust the mechanical lever on the side of the light to change the beam angle from a narrow spot to a wider flood. This allows for precise control over the light spread.
