Important Safety Instructions

Setup

The Bear DDG-D20Q2 features a mechanical knob with three heating selections: OFF, FAST STEW, SIMMER, and KEEP WARM.
- Prepare Food: Place your ingredients into the ceramic inner pot. Ensure the pot is not overfilled; leave at least 2-3 cm from the rim.
- Cover: Place the glass lid securely on the ceramic inner pot.
- Connect Power: Plug the power cord into a suitable electrical outlet (220-240V ~ 50/60Hz).
- Select Mode: Turn the mechanical knob to your desired cooking setting:
- FAST STEW: For quicker cooking or when a higher temperature is needed.
- SIMMER: For gentle, long-duration cooking, ideal for tenderizing ingredients and developing flavors.
- KEEP WARM: Maintains food at a serving temperature after cooking is complete.
- Cooking Process: The indicator light will illuminate when the unit is operating. Cooking times will vary based on the recipe and selected mode. The ceramic pot's design allows for efficient heat retention.
- Finish Cooking: Once cooking is complete, turn the knob to the "OFF" position and unplug the appliance from the wall outlet.
