1. Introduction

4. Setup

4.1 Connecting Air Supply

  1. Ensure the air compressor is turned off and depressurized.
  2. Apply thread sealant tape to the male threads of the air fitting on the tool.
  3. Connect a suitable air hose (with a quick-connect coupler) to the tool's air inlet.
  4. Set the air compressor pressure to the recommended operating range (4 - 7 bar / 58 - 101 PSI). Do not exceed the maximum pressure of 8.3 bar (120 PSI).
  5. Turn on the air compressor.

4.2 Loading Nails

This tool uses CLAVO 12 nails, with lengths ranging from 15mm to 50mm.

  1. Disconnect the tool from the air supply for safety.
  2. Pull back the magazine follower until it locks in the open position.
  3. Insert a strip of nails into the magazine with the points facing down.
  4. Release the magazine follower, allowing it to push the nails forward. Ensure nails are seated correctly.
  5. Reconnect the tool to the air supply.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Basic Operation

  1. Ensure the tool is connected to the air supply and loaded with nails.
  2. Place the nose of the tool firmly against the workpiece where you want to drive a nail.
  3. Press the trigger to drive the nail. The tool features a contact trip mechanism, meaning it will only fire when the nose is depressed against a surface and the trigger is pulled.
  4. After each shot, lift the tool from the workpiece to reset the firing mechanism.

6. Maintenance

6.1 Cleaning
