This manual provides comprehensive instructions for the installation, operation, and maintenance of your Winflo 30-inch Convertible Stainless Steel Wall Mount Range Hood. Please read this manual thoroughly before installation and use to ensure proper function and safety. Retain this manual for future reference.
Safety Information
Always follow basic safety precautions when using electrical appliances. Ensure the range hood is properly grounded. Disconnect power before servicing or cleaning. Package Contents
Verify that all components are present before beginning installation:
- Range Hood Unit
- Aluminum Mesh Filters
- LED Lights (pre-installed)
- Installation and Mounting Hardware
- Flexible Duct Work
- Damper
- Power Plug
- Telescoping Chimney Sections
Setup and Installation
The Winflo range hood is designed for wall-mount installation and can be configured for either ducted (vented to the outside) or non-ducted (recirculating with optional charcoal filters) operation.
Mounting
This unit is a wall-mounted canopy hood. Ensure the wall structure can support the weight of the unit. Refer to the included mounting hardware for specific instructions.
Ventilation Options
- Ducted Installation: The vent location is on the top of the unit. Connect the flexible duct work to vent through the ceiling or an exterior wall.
- Non-Ducted (Recirculating) Installation: For non-ducted use, charcoal filters (Winflo WRHF005S2, sold separately) are required to filter air before it is recirculated into the kitchen.
Chimney Adjustment
The adjustable and telescoping chimney sections are designed to fit ceiling heights between 7.5 feet and 8.5 feet. A chimney extension (part# WRHCE03) is available for purchase for higher ceilings.
Electrical Connection
The unit operates on 110 Volts. Ensure a suitable electrical outlet is available near the installation area.

Operating Instructions
The Winflo range hood features user-friendly push-button controls for fan speed and lighting.
Control Panel
The control panel is located on the front of the hood. It includes buttons for power, fan speed, and light operation.

Fan Operation
Press the fan speed button to cycle through the three available speed settings. The fan provides powerful suction up to 284 CFM at its highest setting, effectively removing smoke and odors. The noise level is kept below 65dB at high speed for quieter operation.
Lighting
Press the light button to turn the two energy-saving soft white LED lights on or off. These lights illuminate your cooking area.
Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and longevity of your range hood.
Cleaning Aluminum Mesh Filters
The aluminum mesh filters are designed to trap grease and can be easily removed for cleaning. They are dishwasher safe. Clean filters regularly (e.g., monthly, depending on cooking frequency) to maintain airflow efficiency.

Cleaning Stainless Steel Surfaces
Clean the stainless steel surfaces with a non-abrasive cleaner specifically designed for stainless steel. Wipe with the grain of the stainless steel to prevent scratching. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive pads.
Charcoal Filter Replacement (for Non-Ducted Use)
If using the range hood in a non-ducted configuration, the charcoal filters (Winflo WRHF005S2) should be replaced periodically, typically every 3-6 months, depending on usage. Refer to the charcoal filter packaging for specific replacement instructions.
Troubleshooting
Before contacting customer support, review the following common issues and solutions:
- Fan not operating: Check if the unit is plugged in and the circuit breaker is not tripped. Ensure the power button is pressed.
- Lights not working: Verify the light button is pressed. Check if the LED lights need replacement (though they have a long lifespan).
- Poor suction: Ensure aluminum mesh filters are clean and not clogged. For non-ducted installations, check if charcoal filters need replacement. Verify that the ductwork (if ducted) is not obstructed.
- Excessive noise: Check for loose parts or obstructions in the fan. Ensure the unit is securely mounted.
If issues persist after attempting these solutions, please contact Winflo customer support.
