1. Important Safety Instructions
Read all instructions before using this heater. Failure to follow these instructions may result in fire, electric shock, or injury.
- Always plug heaters directly into a wall outlet/receptacle. Never use with an extension cord or relocatable power tap (outlet/power strip).
- This heater is hot when in use. To avoid burns, do not let bare skin touch hot surfaces. Use handles when moving this heater.
- Keep combustible materials, such as furniture, pillows, bedding, papers, clothes, and curtains at least 3 feet (0.9 m) from the front of the heater and keep them away from the sides and rear.
- Extreme caution is necessary when any heater is used by or near children or invalids and whenever the heater is left operating and unattended.
- Do not operate any heater with a damaged cord or plug or after the heater malfunctions, has been dropped or damaged in any manner. Return heater to authorized service facility for examination, electrical or mechanical adjustment, or repair.
- Do not use outdoors.
- To disconnect heater, turn controls to OFF, then remove plug from outlet.
- Do not insert or allow foreign objects to enter any ventilation or exhaust opening as this may cause an electric shock or fire, or damage the heater.
- To prevent a possible fire, do not block air intakes or exhaust in any manner. Do not use on soft surfaces, like a bed, where openings may become blocked.
- This heater has a cool-touch exterior, but internal components can become hot.
- The heater is equipped with an Overheat Protection system that automatically shuts off the unit if it detects excessive temperature. If this occurs, unplug the heater, wait 10 minutes for it to cool, then plug it back in.
- This portable space heater is ETL Listed for safety.

3. Setup
The Lasko CD09250 Ceramic Heater comes fully assembled and ready for immediate use.
- Placement: Place the heater on a firm, level surface. Ensure there is at least 3 feet (0.9 m) of clear space around the heater, free from any combustible materials such as furniture, curtains, or bedding. Do not place the heater on soft surfaces where air intake or exhaust openings could be blocked.
- Power Connection: Plug the heater directly into a 120V AC wall outlet. Do not use extension cords, power strips, or surge protectors.
4. Operating Instructions
The heater features two control knobs on the top for power, heat settings, and thermostat adjustment.

- Power and Fan/Heat Settings: The left knob controls the power and fan/heat modes. Turn the knob clockwise to select from:
- 0: Off
- Fan Only: Circulates air without heat.
- 1: Low Heat (750 Watts)
- 2: High Heat (1500 Watts)
- Adjusting the Thermostat: The right knob controls the adjustable thermostat. Turn this knob clockwise to increase the desired temperature setting, and counter-clockwise to decrease it. The heater will cycle on and off to maintain the set temperature.

5. Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and longevity of your heater.
- Cleaning: Always unplug the heater before cleaning. Use a soft, damp cloth to wipe the exterior surfaces. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents. Use a vacuum cleaner with a brush attachment to remove dust and lint from the air intake and exhaust grilles.
- Storage: When not in use, store the heater in a cool, dry place. It is recommended to store it in its original packaging to protect it from dust and damage.
6. Troubleshooting
