3. Product Overview
The U901T system consists of a central monitor and six external sensors. The monitor displays real-time tire data, while the sensors are installed on the tire valves to collect pressure and temperature information.
3.1 Monitor Unit
The monitor features a large LCD display that shows pressure and temperature for all six tires, along with vehicle battery status and system alerts. It can be powered via solar energy or the included cigarette lighter power cord.

3.2 External Sensors
The six external sensors are designed for easy installation on tire valves. They wirelessly transmit tire pressure and temperature data to the monitor unit. Each sensor is individually numbered for correct placement.

4. Setup & Installation
Proper installation is crucial for accurate readings and system performance. Follow these steps carefully:
4.1 Monitor Installation
- Choose a suitable location on your truck's dashboard that does not obstruct your view and allows for clear visibility of the monitor display.
- Clean the dashboard surface thoroughly where the 3M sticky holder will be placed.
- Attach the 3M sticky holder to the monitor unit, then firmly press the holder onto the chosen dashboard location.
- Connect the monitor to power using either the solar panel (ensure it receives direct sunlight) or the cigarette lighter power cord.
4.2 External Sensor Installation
Install the external sensors on the tire valves according to the following procedure:
- Remove the original dust cap from the tire valve.
- Screw on an anti-thief nut clockwise onto the tire valve stem.
- Install the external sensor by screwing it clockwise onto the tire valve stem until it is hand-tight.
- Use the provided wrench to tighten the anti-thief nut counter-clockwise against the sensor to secure it and prevent theft.
- Repeat for all six tires, ensuring each sensor is placed on its corresponding tire (e.g., front left, front right, etc., if labeled).

5. Operating Instructions
Once installed, the U901T system will automatically begin monitoring. The monitor will display real-time pressure and temperature data for each tire.
5.1 Powering On/Off
- The monitor automatically powers on when it detects vibration (e.g., when the vehicle starts moving) or when connected to power.
- It will automatically power off after a period of inactivity to conserve battery.
- To manually power on/off, press and hold the power button (if available on your model).
5.2 Display Information
The LCD display shows the following information:
- Tire Pressure: Displayed in PSI or Bar (user-selectable).
- Tire Temperature: Displayed in °C or °F (user-selectable).
- Sensor Battery Level: Indicates the battery status of each individual sensor.
- Monitor Battery Level: Indicates the internal battery status of the monitor unit.
- Alarm Indicators: Visual and audible alerts for high/low pressure, high temperature, and sensor battery warnings.

5.3 Setting Parameters (If Applicable)
Refer to the specific instructions provided with your unit for accessing and adjusting settings such as pressure units (PSI/Bar), temperature units (°C/°F), and alarm thresholds. Typically, these settings are accessed by pressing and holding a 'Menu' or 'Set' button.
6. Maintenance
To ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your Careud U901T TPMS, follow these maintenance guidelines:
- Cleaning: Wipe the monitor and sensors with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Battery Charging: Ensure the monitor's solar panel is exposed to sunlight regularly. If solar charging is insufficient, use the provided USB cable or cigarette lighter power cord to charge the monitor's internal battery.
- Sensor Batteries: External sensors typically have long-lasting batteries. If a sensor battery warning appears on the display, the sensor battery may need replacement. Consult the manufacturer for specific sensor battery replacement procedures or consider replacing the sensor.
- Storage: If storing the system for an extended period, ensure the monitor's battery is fully charged and store it in a cool, dry place.
7. Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your U901T TPMS, refer to the following common problems and solutions:
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Monitor not turning on. | Low battery; no power connection; no vibration detected. | Charge the monitor via solar or cigarette lighter. Ensure vehicle is moving or manually power on. |
| No tire data displayed. | Sensors not installed correctly; sensors out of range; sensor battery low; interference. | Verify sensor installation. Ensure sensors are within range of the monitor. Check sensor battery levels. Move away from strong electromagnetic interference. |
| Inaccurate pressure/temperature readings. | Sensor not fully tightened; sensor faulty; incorrect calibration (rare). | Re-tighten sensors. Compare readings with a reliable gauge. If persistent, contact support. |
| Alarm constantly sounding. | Tire pressure/temperature outside set limits; faulty sensor. | Check tire pressure/temperature manually and adjust if necessary. If readings are normal, a sensor might be faulty. |
