4. Setup

Follow these steps to assemble your vacuum cleaner before first use.

2. Attach Wheels: Insert the four swivel wheels into the designated slots on the base of the collection tank until they click into place.
3. Prepare for Use:
   • For Dry Vacuuming: Ensure the HEPA filter is securely installed over the motor unit.
   • For Wet Vacuuming: Remove the HEPA filter. Ensure the foam filter (if included) or a wet filter is in place, and the float valve is clean and moves freely.
4. Attach Hose: Connect the flexible hose to the suction inlet on the collection tank by pushing it firmly until it locks.
5. Assemble Accessories: Attach the telescopic tube to the end of the flexible hose. Then, attach the desired nozzle (floor nozzle, flat nozzle, or round brush) to the telescopic tube.
6. Secure Motor Head: Place the motor head onto the collection tank and secure it with the latches on both sides.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 General Operation

1. Ensure the vacuum cleaner is correctly assembled for either wet or dry operation.
2. Plug the power cable into a suitable electrical outlet.
3. Turn the power switch on the motor head to the 'ON' position. The vacuum cleaner features a soft start function for smooth power-up.
4. Begin vacuuming the desired area.
5. When finished, turn the power switch to the 'OFF' position and unplug the appliance.

5.2 Using the Auxiliary Power Outlet

The Stayer VAC 2030 is equipped with an integrated auxiliary power outlet (2000W max) on the motor head, designed for connecting power tools. This feature allows the vacuum cleaner to automatically start when the connected tool is activated and provides a delayed shutdown.

1. Plug your power tool into the auxiliary power outlet on the vacuum cleaner's motor head.
2. Ensure the vacuum cleaner's power switch is in the 'AUTO' position (if available, otherwise 'ON' and the tool will trigger it).
3. When you switch on your power tool, the vacuum cleaner will automatically start.
4. When you switch off your power tool, the vacuum cleaner will continue to run for approximately 8 seconds to clear any remaining debris from the hose, then shut off automatically.

Note: Do not exceed the maximum power rating of 2000W for the auxiliary outlet.

6. Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and extends the life of your vacuum cleaner.

6.1 Emptying the Collection Tank

• Unplug the vacuum cleaner from the power outlet.
• Release the latches and remove the motor head.

• Clean the inside of the tank with a damp cloth if necessary.
• Reattach the motor head and secure the latches.

• HEPA Filter (Dry Use): Regularly tap the filter to dislodge dust. For thorough cleaning, gently brush off accumulated dirt. Replace the HEPA filter when suction power noticeably decreases or if the filter is damaged. Do not wash the HEPA filter unless specified by the manufacturer.
• Foam Filter (Wet Use): After wet vacuuming, remove and rinse the foam filter with clean water. Allow it to air dry completely before reinstallation or before switching back to dry vacuuming.

6.3 Cleaning Accessories

Clean the hose, tubes, and nozzles regularly to prevent blockages. Use water and mild detergent if necessary, ensuring all parts are dry before reassembly.

6.4 Storage

Store the vacuum cleaner in a dry, cool place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. Ensure the tank is empty and clean before storage. Wrap the power cable neatly.
