4. Setup
Follow these steps to set up your Promedix PR-820 nebuliser for first use.
- Place the Compressor Unit: Position the Promedix PR-820 compressor unit on a clean, stable, and flat surface. Ensure there is adequate ventilation around the unit.
- Connect the Air Tube: Firmly connect one end of the air tube to the air outlet connector on the compressor unit.
- Prepare the Nebuliser Cup: Open the nebuliser cup and pour the prescribed amount of medication into the medication chamber. Do not overfill. Securely close the nebuliser cup.
- Attach the Nebuliser Cup to Air Tube: Connect the other end of the air tube to the bottom connector of the nebuliser cup.

5. Operating Instructions
Once the device is set up, follow these steps for proper operation.
- Connect to Power: Plug the power cord into a standard electrical outlet (AC 230V/50Hz).
- Start Nebulisation: Flip the power switch on the compressor unit to the 'ON' position. The unit will start, and a fine mist should begin to emerge from the mouthpiece or mask.
- Inhale Medication: If using the mouthpiece, place it between your teeth and seal your lips around it. If using a mask, place it over your nose and mouth, ensuring a snug fit. Breathe normally and deeply until the medication is fully nebulised (typically 5-15 minutes, or as advised by your doctor).
- End Treatment: Once the medication is depleted and mist production stops, turn the power switch to the 'OFF' position.
