4.1 Unpacking and Inspection

  1. Carefully unpack the UPS and its accessories from the packaging.
  2. Inspect the unit for any shipping damage. If damage is found, notify the carrier and dealer.
  3. Retain the packaging materials for future use or return.

4.2 Placement

Place the UPS in a protected area that is free from excessive dust, humidity, and is well-ventilated. Ensure sufficient clearance around the unit for proper airflow.

4.3 Initial Connection

  1. Connect the UPS to a grounded 120V NEMA 5-15R wall outlet using the provided NEMA 5-15P input cable.
  2. Allow the UPS to charge its internal batteries for at least 24 hours before connecting critical equipment to ensure full runtime capability.
  3. Connect your equipment to the NEMA 5-15R output receptacles on the rear of the UPS.

5. Operating Instructions

The LCD display provides real-time status information and allows for configuration adjustments. Use the navigation buttons (up, down, enter, escape) to browse menus and select options.

5.3 Battery Mode Operation

In the event of a power outage, the UPS will automatically switch to battery mode, providing continuous power to connected devices. The LCD will indicate "On Battery" status. The duration of battery backup depends on the connected load and battery charge level.
