4. Operating Instructions

4.1. Riflescope Operation

  • Magnification Adjustment: Rotate the 4x-12x Power Ring (refer to Figure 1) to adjust the magnification from 4x to 12x.
  • Focus Adjustment: Rotate the Focus Ring (refer to Figure 1) to achieve a clear image of your target.
  • Reticle Illumination: The riflescope features red and green illumination. Rotate the illumination knob (labeled "5 Levels Red / Green Adjustment" in Figure 1) to select the desired color and brightness level (5 levels for each color).
  • Windage and Elevation Adjustment: Remove the protective caps from the windage (horizontal) and elevation (vertical) adjustment turrets. Use a coin or flathead screwdriver to make adjustments. Each click typically represents a specific change in point of impact (e.g., 1/4 MOA). Turn the turrets in the indicated direction to move the point of impact.

4.2. Reflex Sight Operation

  • Power On/Off and Brightness: Use the control knob on the side of the reflex sight to turn it on/off and adjust the brightness of the reticle.
  • Reticle Pattern Selection: The reflex sight offers 4 different reticle patterns. Use the reticle selector switch to cycle through the available patterns.
  • Windage and Elevation Adjustment: Use the small adjustment screws on the side and top of the reflex sight to adjust the point of aim.

4.3. Green Dot Laser Sight Operation

  • Activation: Press the button on the laser sight body to activate or deactivate the green laser.
  • Windage and Elevation Adjustment: Use the small Allen wrenches to adjust the windage and elevation screws on the laser sight to align the laser dot with your point of impact.

4.4. Sighting In (Zeroing)

Sighting in is crucial for accuracy. It is recommended to perform this at a controlled shooting range. Start at a closer distance (e.g., 25 yards) and gradually move to longer distances (e.g., 100 yards) for fine-tuning.

  1. Secure Firearm: Mount your firearm securely in a vise or on a stable rest.
  2. Initial Shots: Fire a group of 3-5 shots at a target.
  3. Adjust Riflescope: Observe the point of impact relative to your aim point. Adjust the riflescope's windage and elevation turrets to move the reticle towards the center of your shot group. Repeat until satisfied.
  4. Adjust Reflex Sight/Laser: Once the riflescope is zeroed, adjust the reflex sight and laser sight to align with the riflescope's point of aim. This allows for quick transitions between aiming methods.
  5. Confirm Zero: Fire additional groups to confirm that all sights are accurately zeroed at your desired distance.

5. Care and Maintenance

  • Cleaning Lenses: Use the provided cleaning cloth or a soft, lint-free cloth specifically designed for optics. Gently wipe the lens surfaces to remove dust and smudges. For stubborn marks, use a small amount of lens cleaning fluid. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.
  • Cleaning Body: Wipe the exterior of the scope, reflex sight, and laser sight with a soft, damp cloth. Dry thoroughly.
  • Water and Fog Proofing: The riflescope is O-ring sealed and nitrogen-filled, making it waterproof and fog-proof. However, avoid submerging the unit in water for extended periods. If exposed to water, wipe dry immediately.
  • Storage: Store the scope set in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. Use the lens covers to protect the objective and ocular lenses when not in use. Remove batteries if storing for extended periods to prevent leakage.
  • Inspection: Periodically check all mounting screws and adjustments to ensure they remain tight and secure.
