3. Desk Compatibility and Installation

3.1 Desk Requirements

The MAX SMART Clamp-on Mouse Platform is designed for flat desk edges up to 1.5 inches (38 mm) thick. It is not recommended for desks with uneven or obstructed edges underneath, or desks with underframes or drawers that would prevent proper clamping.

3.2 Installation Steps

1. Push the clamp into the top hole of the mouse pad, ensuring the mouse pad is facing up.
2. Align the assembled unit with your flat-edge desk.
3. Screw the clamp tightly by hand only until it is securely fastened to the desk. No tools are required.

• Platform feels unstable: Ensure the clamp is securely tightened to the desk. Verify your desk thickness is within the 1.5-inch limit and has a flat edge.
• Mouse not tracking smoothly: Clean the surface of the mouse pad. Ensure your mouse is clean and functioning correctly.
• Difficulty rotating: Check for any obstructions around the pivot point. Ensure the platform is installed correctly and not overtightened.
