1. Introduction

4. Setup and Installation

Follow these steps to install your Cornat Basin Shower Kit:

1. Turn off Water Supply: Locate the main water shut-off valve for your basin faucet and turn it off. This prevents water flow during installation.
2. Remove Existing Aerator: Unscrew the aerator from your basin faucet. Most aerators can be unscrewed by hand or with a wrench if necessary.
3. Check Compatibility: Ensure your faucet's thread is either M22x1 (male thread) or M24x1 (female thread). The Cornat kit is designed to connect directly to these standard sizes.

5. Operating Instructions

Using your Cornat Basin Shower Kit is straightforward:

1. Faucet Mode: When the pressure button on the shower head is not pressed, water will flow normally from your basin faucet.
2. Shower Mode: To activate the shower function, simply press and hold the black pressure button located on the side of the shower head. Water will then divert from the faucet to the shower head.
3. Switching Back: Release the pressure button to return water flow to the basin faucet.
4. Water Temperature and Flow: Adjust water temperature and flow using your basin faucet's controls as usual.

• Cleaning Nozzles: If water flow becomes uneven or reduced, mineral deposits may be clogging the shower head nozzles. Gently rub the silicone nozzles to dislodge deposits, or carefully remove the spray cap (as shown in Figure 5.2) and soak it in a vinegar solution to dissolve stubborn buildup. Rinse well before reattaching.
