Safety Instructions
Always follow basic safety precautions to reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, and personal injury.
- Work Area Safety: Keep your work area clean and well-lit. Cluttered or dark areas invite accidents. Do not operate power tools in explosive atmospheres, such as in the presence of flammable liquids, gases, or dust.
- Electrical Safety: Power tool plugs must match the outlet. Never modify the plug in any way. Avoid body contact with earthed or grounded surfaces such as pipes, radiators, ranges, and refrigerators.
- Personal Safety: Always wear eye protection. Use hearing protection when operating noisy tools. Dress properly; avoid loose clothing or jewelry. Secure long hair.
- Tool Use and Care: Do not force the power tool. Use the correct power tool for your application. Disconnect the plug from the power source before making any adjustments, changing accessories, or storing power tools.
- Maintenance: Maintain power tools. Check for misalignment or binding of moving parts, breakage of parts, and any other condition that may affect the power tool's operation.
Product Overview
The POWERPLUS POWE10030 is a versatile electric impact drill designed for various drilling tasks. It features adjustable speed and rotation, a quick-release chuck, and a depth stop for precise work.

Setup
1. Attaching the Auxiliary Handle
The auxiliary handle provides additional grip and control.
- Loosen the auxiliary handle by rotating it counter-clockwise.
- Slide the handle onto the front of the drill body.
- Adjust the handle to a comfortable working position.
- Tighten the handle by rotating it clockwise until secure.
2. Inserting and Removing Drill Bits
The drill features a 13mm quick-release chuck for easy bit changes.
- Ensure the drill is unplugged from the power source.
- Rotate the chuck collar counter-clockwise to open the jaws.
- Insert the drill bit fully into the chuck.
- Rotate the chuck collar clockwise to tighten the jaws securely around the bit. Ensure the bit is centered and firmly held.
- To remove, rotate the chuck collar counter-clockwise and pull the bit out.
3. Setting the Depth Stop
The depth stop allows for consistent drilling depth.
- Insert the depth stop rod into the hole on the auxiliary handle.
- Position the drill bit against the workpiece.
- Adjust the depth stop rod until its end is at the desired drilling depth.
- Secure the depth stop by tightening its locking mechanism on the auxiliary handle.
Operating Instructions
1. Power Connection
Connect the drill's power cable to a suitable electrical outlet.
2. Selecting Drilling Mode (Drill / Impact Drill)
The POWE10030 offers two modes:
- Drill Mode: For softer materials like wood, ceramics, and plastic. Select this mode using the switch located on the top of the drill.
- Impact Drill Mode: For harder materials such as concrete and stone. Select this mode using the switch on the top of the drill.
3. Adjusting Speed and Rotation
- Variable Speed: The trigger switch controls the speed from 0 to 3000 RPM. Press the trigger gently for lower speeds and harder for higher speeds.
- Rotation Direction: Use the forward/reverse switch (typically near the trigger) to select clockwise (for drilling/tightening) or counter-clockwise (for loosening/removing bits) rotation.
4. Drilling Procedure
- Secure the workpiece to prevent movement.
- Mark the drilling spot.
- Hold the drill firmly with both hands, ensuring a stable grip on the main handle and the auxiliary handle.
- Position the drill bit on the marked spot.
- Start the drill at a low speed, gradually increasing pressure and speed as the bit penetrates the material.
- Maintain steady pressure and allow the drill to do the work.
- Once the desired depth is reached (if using a depth stop), release the trigger and wait for the bit to stop before withdrawing the drill.
Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your drill.
- Cleaning: After each use, unplug the drill and clean the exterior with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners. Keep ventilation openings clear of dust and debris.
- Chuck Care: Periodically clean the chuck jaws to ensure proper grip on drill bits.
- Storage: Store the drill in a dry, secure location, out of reach of children. Protect it from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
- Cord Inspection: Regularly inspect the power cord for any signs of damage. If damaged, have it replaced by a qualified technician.
Troubleshooting
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Drill does not start. | No power supply. Faulty power cord/plug. | Check power outlet and connection. Inspect cord and plug for damage; replace if necessary by a qualified technician. |
| Drill runs slowly or lacks power. | Incorrect speed setting. Overload. Worn carbon brushes (if applicable). | Adjust speed using the trigger. Reduce pressure on the workpiece. Have brushes checked/replaced by service center. |
| Drill bit slips in chuck. | Chuck not tightened sufficiently. Dirty chuck jaws. Damaged drill bit shank. | Ensure chuck is tightened firmly. Clean chuck jaws. Use a drill bit with an undamaged shank. |
| Excessive vibration or noise. | Loose components. Damaged drill bit. Internal fault. | Check for loose parts and tighten. Replace damaged drill bit. Contact customer support for inspection. |
