Troubleshooting
4.1 Common Issues and Solutions
| Problem | Possible Solution |
|---|---|
| Phone not turning on | Ensure the battery is charged. Connect to charger for at least 15 minutes. If still unresponsive, perform a force restart (hold Power + Volume Down for 10-15 seconds). |
| Apps crashing or freezing | Close background apps. Clear app cache (Settings > Apps > [App Name] > Storage > Clear cache). Restart the phone. If persistent, consider uninstalling and reinstalling the app. |
| Poor battery life | Reduce screen brightness. Disable unused features (Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS). Limit background app refresh. Check battery usage in Settings to identify power-hungry apps. |
| Network connectivity issues (Wi-Fi/Cellular) | Toggle Wi-Fi/Cellular data off and on. Restart your router (for Wi-Fi). Check SIM card insertion. Reset network settings (Settings > System > Reset options > Reset Wi-Fi, mobile & Bluetooth). |
| Fingerprint scanner not working | Ensure your finger is clean and dry. Re-register your fingerprints in Settings > Security & location > Fingerprint. |
4.2 Factory Reset
A factory reset will erase all data from your phone and restore it to its original factory settings. This can resolve persistent software issues but should be used as a last resort.
- Backup Data: Before performing a factory reset, ensure all important data (photos, contacts, documents) is backed up to a cloud service or computer.
- Perform Reset: Navigate to Settings > System > Reset options > Erase all data (factory reset). Follow the on-screen prompts.
