Introduction

The Foutou T50/T67 is a high-power, long-range infrared (IR) illuminator designed specifically for use with night vision systems. Unlike standard flashlights, this device emits invisible 850nm IR light, making it ideal for stealthy observation and hunting in low-light conditions. Its focusable head and robust construction ensure reliable performance in various environments.

Safety Information

• Invisible Light: The 850nm IR light emitted by this device is largely invisible to the human eye. Do not look directly into the LED emitter when the flashlight is on, as prolonged exposure may cause eye strain or damage.
• Battery Safety: Use only 2 x 18650 Li-Ion rechargeable batteries with genuine cores and appropriate voltage (3.7V-4.2V). Do not mix old and new batteries, or different types of batteries. Improper battery use can lead to overheating, leakage, or explosion.
• Water Resistance: The flashlight is shockproof and waterproof. However, avoid submerging it for extended periods or exposing it to extreme water pressure.
• Operating Temperature: Operate the flashlight within the specified temperature range of -5°C to +50°C.

Setup

Battery Installation

1. Unscrew the tail cap of the flashlight.
2. Insert two 18650 Li-Ion batteries into the battery compartment with the positive (+) end facing towards the head of the flashlight.
3. Screw the tail cap back on securely.

LED Head Change Process

The Foutou T50/T67 features an easy-change LED head, allowing for quick swaps of different LED inserts (e.g., different IR wavelengths or visible light LEDs, if available separately).

1. Ensure the flashlight is turned off and remove the batteries for safety.
2. Unscrew the bezel (front ring) of the flashlight head and carefully remove the lens.
3. Unscrew the LED pill (the module containing the LED) by turning it clockwise.
4. Insert the new LED pill and screw it in counter-clockwise until secure.
5. Replace the lens and screw the bezel back on securely.

Operating Instructions

Power On/Off

Press the button on the tail cap to turn the flashlight on or off. The T50/T67 operates in a single mode (1-mode memory driver).

Focus Adjustment

The flashlight features a rotary focusing function on its 50mm lens. Rotate the head of the flashlight to adjust the beam from a wide flood to a tight spotlight. This allows for optimal illumination over varying distances.

Maintenance

• Cleaning: Wipe the flashlight body with a soft, damp cloth. For the lens, use a lens cleaning cloth and solution to avoid scratches.
• Battery Care: Remove batteries if the flashlight will not be used for an extended period. Store batteries in a cool, dry place. Recharge batteries regularly to maintain their lifespan.
• O-Rings: Periodically inspect and lubricate the O-rings with silicone grease to maintain water resistance.
