Setup

1. Unpacking and Component Check

Carefully remove all components from the packaging. Ensure all items listed below are present.

  • Base Unit (1)
  • Cordless Handsets (4)
  • AC Adaptor for Base Unit (1)
  • Telephone Line Cord (1)
  • Rechargeable Ni-MH AAA Batteries (8, two per handset)
  • Handset Chargers (3, for additional handsets)
  • AC Adaptors for Handset Chargers (3)

2. Battery Installation and Charging

Install the provided rechargeable Ni-MH AAA batteries into each handset. Observe the correct polarity (+ and -) as indicated inside the battery compartment.

  1. Open the battery compartment cover on the back of the handset.
  2. Insert the two AAA Ni-MH batteries, matching the polarity.
  3. Close the battery compartment cover.
  4. Place each handset on its respective base unit or charger cradle.
  5. Allow the handsets to charge for at least 7 hours before initial use. The charge indicator on the handset display will show charging status.

Important: Use only the supplied rechargeable Ni-MH batteries. Non-rechargeable batteries or other types of rechargeable batteries may damage the unit.

3. Connecting the Base Unit

Connect the base unit to your telephone line and power outlet.

  1. Connect the telephone line cord to the LINE jack on the base unit and to your telephone wall jack.
  2. Connect the AC adaptor to the POWER jack on the base unit and then plug it into a standard AC outlet.
  3. For additional chargers, connect their respective AC adaptors to the charger and then to a standard AC outlet.

Ensure all connections are secure. The base unit requires continuous power to function.

Operating Instructions

Making and Receiving Calls

  • To Make a Call: Lift the handset from the base/charger or press the TALK button. Dial the phone number.
  • To Receive a Call: When the phone rings, lift the handset or press the TALK button.
  • To End a Call: Place the handset back on the base/charger or press the OFF button.

Adjusting Volume

During a call, press the VOL (Volume) up or down buttons on the side of the handset to adjust the earpiece or speaker volume.

Speakerphone Function

To use the speakerphone during a call, press the SP-PHONE button. Press it again to switch back to the earpiece.

Call Block Feature

The system allows you to block unwanted calls by registering up to 30 numbers in the Call Block list. When a blocked number calls, the system will send a busy signal.

Intercom Function

You can make calls between handsets within your home. This is useful for communicating with family members in different rooms.

  1. Press the INTERCOM button on the handset.
  2. Select the desired handset number (e.g., 1, 2, 3, 4) to call.
  3. The selected handset will ring. The recipient can answer by pressing TALK or INTERCOM.

Night Mode
