The AOC E2070SWHN is a 19.5-inch (19.5" viewable) display featuring a 1600x900 resolution, 5ms response time, and versatile connectivity options including HDMI and VGA. It is designed for various computing environments, offering a clear and vibrant visual experience.

3. Setup and Installation

3.1 Assembling the Monitor Stand

1. Place the monitor panel face down on a soft, clean cloth to prevent scratches.
2. Attach the stand neck to the back of the monitor panel. Ensure it clicks securely into place.
3. Attach the stand base to the bottom of the stand neck. Tighten any screws if provided, usually by hand or with a coin.

3.2 Connecting Cables

Ensure your computer and the monitor are powered off before making any connections.

1. Power Connection: Connect the power cord to the monitor's power input and then to a grounded electrical outlet.
2. Video Connection:
   • HDMI: Connect one end of an HDMI cable (not included) to the HDMI port on your computer's graphics card and the other end to the HDMI port on the monitor.
   • VGA: Connect the supplied VGA cable to the VGA port on your computer's graphics card and the other end to the VGA port on the monitor.

   Note: Use either HDMI or VGA, not both simultaneously for the same input source.
3. Audio Output (Optional): If you wish to use external speakers or headphones, connect them to the monitor's audio output jack. The monitor does not have integrated speakers.

3.3 VESA Wall Mount Installation (Optional)

The AOC E2070SWHN supports VESA 100mm wall mounts. To install, remove the stand assembly from the monitor. Attach the VESA-compatible mounting bracket (not included) to the four screw holes on the back of the monitor. Follow the instructions provided with your VESA mount for proper installation.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Power On/Off

Press the power button located on the bottom right bezel of the monitor to turn it on or off. The power LED will illuminate when the monitor is on.

4.2 On-Screen Display (OSD) Menu Navigation

The monitor's settings are adjusted via the On-Screen Display (OSD) menu. The OSD menu is navigated using the power button, which also functions as a multi-directional control.

• Access OSD: Press the power button briefly to bring up the OSD menu.
• Navigate: Press the power button repeatedly to cycle through menu options.
• Select/Confirm: Press and hold the power button for a longer duration to select an option or confirm a setting.
• Exit OSD: Navigate to the "Exit" option or wait for the OSD to time out.

4.3 Input Selection

If you have multiple video sources connected, you can switch between them using the OSD menu. Navigate to the "Input Select" option and choose between HDMI or VGA.

4.4 Adjusting Display Settings

Within the OSD menu, you can adjust various display settings:

• Brightness/Contrast: Adjust these settings to achieve your desired image luminosity and depth.
• Color Settings: Modify color temperature, gamma, and individual RGB levels.
• Image Setup (VGA only): For VGA connections, options like Auto Adjust, H. Position, V. Position, Clock, and Phase may be available to optimize image clarity.
• Resolution: For optimal display quality, ensure your computer's display resolution is set to 1600x900.

5.1 Cleaning the Monitor

• Always unplug the monitor from the power outlet before cleaning.
• Use a soft, lint-free cloth lightly dampened with water or a mild, non-abrasive screen cleaner.
• Do not use alcohol, ammonia, or abrasive cleaners, as these can damage the screen or casing.
• Wipe the screen gently to remove dust and smudges.

5.2 Safety Precautions

• Do not block ventilation openings.
• Do not place the monitor near heat sources or in direct sunlight.
• Avoid exposing the monitor to excessive dust, humidity, or extreme temperatures.
