1. Sub-frame Attachment: The universal sub-frame is designed to fit most ATVs and small UTVs. Attach the sub-frame to the rear of your ATV/UTV using the hitch ball. The standard length of the sub-frame is 120 inches.

   Note: Weight can be transferred to the vehicle's suspension for improved maneuverability.

2. Engine Installation: The 15 HP engine is installed in the middle of the snowblower for optimal balance. This snowblower requires an engine between 13 HP to 23 HP with a horizontal crankshaft of 1 inch.

3. Exhaust Silencer (for Honda Engines): For 2-Cylinder Honda motors with 20 HP to 24 HP, a specific Bercomac exhaust silencer (e.g., Kimpex part number 089269) is required as the standard Honda exhaust silencer may not be compatible.
4. Electrical Control Box: Install the electrical control box within easy reach from your operating position on the ATV/UTV. This box allows you to adjust the chute, engage the clutch, and stop the engine.

Operating Instructions

1. Pre-Operation Check: Before each use, inspect the snowblower for any loose parts, damage, or obstructions. Ensure the shear bolts are intact. Check fuel and oil levels.
2. Starting the Engine: Follow your engine manufacturer's instructions for starting. Once the engine is running, allow it to warm up for a few minutes.
3. Engaging the Snowblower: Use the electrical control box to engage the electric clutch. This instantly activates the snowblower's augers.

5. Snow Clearing: Drive your ATV/UTV at a controlled speed, allowing the snowblower to efficiently clear snow. The blower opening is 48 inches wide by 21 inches high.

6. Stopping the Engine: Use the designated button on the electrical control box to stop the engine. Always disengage the electric clutch before stopping the engine to prevent battery drain.

Maintenance

• Shear Bolts: The 3 shear bolt safety system is crucial for protecting the auger and gearbox. If the snowblower stops clearing snow but the engine is running, check for broken shear bolts. Replace them immediately with genuine Bercomac shear bolts.
• Belt System: The snowblower utilizes a single belt system (type "BX 55" belt) for reduction. Regularly inspect the belt for wear, cracks, or damage. Replace worn belts to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
• Lubrication: Refer to the engine manual for engine-specific lubrication requirements. Lubricate all moving parts and pivot points on the snowblower as recommended.
• Cleaning and Storage: After each use, clean the snowblower thoroughly to remove snow, ice, and debris. Store the unit in a dry, protected area when not in use.

Troubleshooting

• Snowblower Not Engaging:
  • Check the electrical connections to the control box and electric clutch.
  • Ensure the engine is running and at the correct operating RPM.
  • Verify the electric clutch switch on the control box is in the "ON" position.
• Augers Not Turning:
  • Inspect the shear bolts for breakage. Replace any broken shear bolts.
  • Check the BX 55 belt for damage or if it has come off the pulleys.
  • Ensure no foreign objects are jammed in the auger housing.
• Poor Snow Discharge:
  • Check the chute for blockages. Always clear blockages with the engine off and key removed.
