2. Safety Information

  • Always ensure all locking mechanisms are engaged before using the rollator.
  • Do not exceed the maximum weight capacity of 100 kg (220 lbs).

4. Setup and Assembly

The Mobiclinic Hercules Rollator comes largely pre-assembled. Follow these steps for initial setup and adjustment:

4.1 Unfolding the Rollator

  1. Place the folded rollator on a flat surface.
  2. Gently pull the side frames outwards until the rollator is fully open and the seat clicks into place.
  3. Ensure the seat is securely locked before use.

4.2 Adjusting Handle Height

  1. Locate the height adjustment pins on the rollator's legs, near the handles.
  2. Press the pin and slide the handle tube up or down to the desired height.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Walking with the Rollator

To use the rollator for walking, stand behind it with your hands on the ergonomic handles. Push the rollator forward a short distance, then step forward with one foot, followed by the other. Maintain a comfortable, upright posture. The solid PVC wheels with reflective strips provide smooth movement and enhanced visibility.

5.2 Using the Brakes

The Mobiclinic Hercules Rollator is equipped with manual brakes for safety and control.

  • To slow down or stop: Squeeze the brake levers located on the handles towards you.
  • To engage parking brakes: Push the brake levers down until they lock into place. This will prevent the rollator from moving, providing stability when sitting or standing.
  • To release parking brakes: Pull the brake levers up until they disengage.

5.3 Using the Seat and Basket

The rollator features a comfortable padded seat and backrest for resting, and a convenient storage basket.

  • To sit: Ensure the parking brakes are fully engaged. Turn around and slowly lower yourself onto the seat. Use the handles for support if needed.
  • Storage Basket: The front-mounted basket is ideal for carrying personal items, groceries, or other essentials. It also includes a support for a cane or umbrella.

6. Maintenance and Care

  • Cleaning: Wipe down the frame, seat, and handles regularly with a damp cloth and mild detergent. Avoid abrasive cleaners.
