Product Overview

The H2PRO Vivace 1 1/4" Ceramic Flat Iron is designed for efficient hair straightening and styling. It features Tourmaline ionic treatment and ceramic plates infused with diamond powder and coated with argan oil to help achieve smooth, shiny hair.

Setup Instructions

1. Unpack: Carefully remove the flat iron from its packaging. Ensure all components are present and undamaged.
2. Plug In: Insert the power cord into a standard electrical outlet.
3. Identify Controls: Locate the power/temperature dial on the side of the flat iron.
4. Power On: Slide the dial from the 'OFF' position to activate the appliance. A red indicator light will illuminate, signifying that the flat iron is heating up.
5. Set Temperature: Adjust the dial to your desired temperature setting. The temperature range is from 140°F to 450°F (60°C to 232°C). For finer or damaged hair, start with lower temperatures. For thicker or coarser hair, higher temperatures may be required.

Operating Instructions

For best results, ensure hair is clean, dry, and detangled before styling.

1. Prepare Hair: Apply a heat protectant spray to your hair to minimize heat damage.
2. Section Hair: Divide your hair into small, manageable sections (approximately 1-2 inches wide). Use clips to hold unstyled sections away.
3. Straighten: Take one section of hair and place it between the heating plates, close to the roots. Gently close the plates and glide the flat iron slowly and steadily down the hair section, from roots to ends. Avoid stopping the iron in one place to prevent heat damage.
4. Repeat: Repeat the process for all sections of hair until desired straightness is achieved. Typically, one pass per section is sufficient due to the efficient heating and plate technology.
5. Cool Down: Allow your hair to cool completely before brushing or further styling to set the straight look.

The ceramic plates with Tourmaline ionic treatment, diamond powder, and argan oil infusion work to reduce frizz, add shine, and provide a smooth glide through the hair.

Care and Maintenance

1. Cleaning: Always ensure the flat iron is unplugged and completely cool before cleaning. Wipe the exterior and heating plates with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or harsh chemicals.
2. Storage: Store the cooled flat iron in a safe, dry place, away from moisture and direct sunlight. Do not wrap the cord tightly around the appliance.

Troubleshooting

• Appliance not heating: Ensure the power cord is securely plugged into a working electrical outlet and the power/temperature dial is switched to an 'ON' position. Check for any visible damage to the cord or plug.
• Automatic Shut-off: The H2PRO Vivace flat iron is equipped with an automatic shut-off feature that activates after one hour of inactivity to ensure safety and conserve energy. If the appliance turns off during use, simply slide the dial to 'OFF' and then back to your desired temperature setting to restart.
• Hair not straightening effectively: Ensure your hair is completely dry and detangled. Try increasing the temperature setting gradually, or take smaller sections of hair.
