Setup
- Unpack the Candles: Carefully remove all candles and the remote control from the packaging. Inspect for any damage.
- Install Batteries:
- Each candle requires 2 "D" batteries (not included).
- Locate the battery compartment on the bottom of each candle.
- Open the compartment cover and insert the batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-).
- Close the battery compartment cover securely.
- Remote Control Battery: The remote control typically comes with a pre-installed CR2025 button cell battery. If not, or if it needs replacement, open the small tray on the side/back of the remote and insert a new CR2025 battery with the positive side facing up.
- Placement: Place the candles on a flat, stable surface indoors. Avoid direct sunlight or heat sources, as this can affect the wax.

Operating Instructions
Manual Operation:
- Locate the ON/OFF/TIMER switch on the bottom of each candle.
- Slide the switch to "ON" to turn the candle on. The flame will begin to move and glow.
- Slide the switch to "OFF" to turn the candle off.
- Slide the switch to "TIMER" to activate the 5-hour timer function. The candle will stay on for 5 hours, then turn off for 19 hours, and repeat the cycle daily.
Remote Control Operation:
The included remote control allows for convenient operation of multiple Luminara candles simultaneously.
- ON Button: Press to turn the candles on.
- OFF Button: Press to turn the candles off.
- TIMER Button: Press to activate the 5-hour timer function. The candles will remain on for 5 hours, then turn off for 19 hours, and repeat the cycle daily. To deactivate the timer, press the ON or OFF button.

Maintenance
- Cleaning: Wipe the candles with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents, as these can damage the wax finish.
- Battery Replacement: Replace batteries when the light dims or the flame movement becomes erratic. Always replace all batteries in a set at the same time with new batteries of the same type. Dispose of old batteries responsibly.
- Storage: When not in use for extended periods, remove the batteries to prevent leakage. Store candles in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
- Wax Care: As these are real wax candles, they can melt if exposed to high temperatures. Avoid placing them near heat sources or in direct sunlight for prolonged periods.
