1. Introduction
This manual provides detailed instructions for the assembly, operation, and maintenance of your Himimi Chromed Metal 5-Tier Kitchen Shelf with Wheels. Please read these instructions carefully before assembly and use to ensure safe and efficient operation. This versatile shelving unit is designed for various environments, including kitchens, bathrooms, offices, and garages, offering adjustable storage solutions.
2. Safety Information
- Maximum Weight Capacity: Each shelf can support up to 60 kg (132 lbs). Do not exceed this limit. The total maximum weight capacity for the entire unit is 159 kg (350 lbs).
- Even Weight Distribution: Distribute items evenly across each shelf to prevent tipping or instability.
- Assembly: Keep small parts away from children during assembly. Ensure all components are securely fastened before use.
- Stability Check: Periodically check all connections to ensure they remain tight and secure.
- Caster Locks: Always engage the caster locks when the unit is in a stationary position to prevent unintended movement.
3. Package Contents
Please verify that all components listed below are present before beginning assembly:
- 5 x Wire Shelves
- 4 x Upper Support Poles
- 4 x Lower Support Poles
- 20 x Plastic Clip Pairs (for 5 shelves)
- 4 x Casters (2 with locking mechanism)
- 4 x Adjustable Leveling Feet (optional, for stationary use)
- 4 x Side Hooks (optional accessory)
4. Setup and Assembly Instructions
Assembly of this shelving unit is designed to be quick and easy, requiring no additional tools.
- Attach Casters/Leveling Feet: Screw the casters (or leveling feet, if preferred for stationary use) into the bottom of the lower support poles. Ensure they are tightened securely. If using casters, make sure the locking casters are on the same side for easier access.
- Connect Poles: Screw the upper support poles onto the lower support poles. The poles are threaded for easy connection. Ensure a tight fit.
- Install Plastic Clips: Locate the grooves on the support poles. Snap two plastic clip halves together around a pole at the desired height for the bottom shelf. Ensure the 'TOP' arrow on the clips points upwards and that both halves are fully engaged around the pole. Repeat this for all four poles at the same height. These clips will support the shelf.
- Place First Shelf: Slide the first wire shelf down over the poles until it rests firmly on the installed plastic clips. Gently press down on each corner of the shelf to ensure it is level and securely seated.
- Install Remaining Shelves: Repeat step 3 and 4 for the remaining four shelves, adjusting the height of the plastic clips as desired for each shelf. Ensure all clips are at the same height on all four poles for each shelf to maintain stability.
- Attach Side Hooks (Optional): If using the side hooks, attach them to the top edge of any shelf as needed for hanging items.

5. Operating Instructions
- Adjusting Shelf Height: To adjust a shelf's height, remove all items from the shelf. Lift the shelf off its clips. Remove the plastic clips, reposition them at the desired height on all four poles, and then place the shelf back onto the clips.
- Using Casters: The shelving unit is equipped with four casters for easy mobility. Two casters include a locking mechanism. To move the unit, unlock the casters. To keep the unit stationary, engage the locks on the two locking casters.

6. Maintenance and Care
- Cleaning: Wipe the chromed metal surfaces with a soft, dry cloth. For stubborn marks, a slightly damp cloth followed by a dry cloth can be used. Avoid abrasive cleaners or harsh chemicals that may damage the finish.
- Regular Inspection: Periodically check all pole connections and shelf clips to ensure they are secure. Tighten any loose connections.
- Rust Prevention: While the chromed finish offers good resistance, avoid prolonged exposure to excessive moisture to prevent potential rust.
7. Troubleshooting
- Unit is Wobbly:
Solution: Ensure all plastic clips are fully engaged and seated correctly in the pole grooves. Verify that all shelves are level. Check that the upper and lower pole sections are tightly screwed together. If using leveling feet, adjust them to compensate for uneven floors. - Difficulty Placing a Shelf:
Solution: Make sure the plastic clips are installed at the exact same height on all four poles. Apply gentle, even pressure to all four corners of the shelf when lowering it onto the clips. - Casters Not Rolling Smoothly:
Solution: Check if the caster locks are engaged. Ensure no debris is caught in the wheels.
