Setup

  1. Unpack: Carefully remove all packaging materials and inspect the kettle for any damage.
  2. Clean: Before first use, fill the kettle with water to the 'MAX' line, boil it, and then discard the water. Repeat this process 2-3 times to remove any manufacturing residues.
  3. Placement: Place the power base on a dry, flat, and stable surface away from the edge of the countertop.
  4. Connect: Plug the power cord into a standard 120V AC electrical outlet.

Operating Instructions

Filling the Kettle

  1. Remove the kettle from its power base.
  2. Open the lid and fill the kettle with fresh, cold water. Do not fill below the 'MIN' mark or above the 'MAX' fill line.
  3. Securely close the lid and place the kettle back onto its power base.

Selecting Temperature and Heating

  1. Press the On/Off button to activate the kettle.
  2. Select your desired temperature by pressing one of the preset buttons: 180°F (Green Tea, White Tea), 195°F (Oolong, Air Press Coffee), 200°F (Black Tea, French Press), 205°F (Herbal Tea, Pour Over), or 212°F (Boil). The selected button will illuminate.
  3. The kettle will begin heating the water to the chosen temperature. The indicator light will flash during heating and become solid once the temperature is reached.
  4. The kettle will automatically shut off once the target temperature is achieved.

Using the Keep Warm Function

  • After selecting a temperature and the kettle has reached it, press the Keep Warm button.
  • The kettle will maintain the water at the selected temperature for approximately 30 minutes.
  • To deactivate, press the On/Off button.

Pouring

  • Carefully lift the kettle from its base.
  • Use the gooseneck spout for a slow, controlled, and precise pour.

Maintenance and Cleaning

  • Regular Cleaning: For general cleaning, wipe the exterior of the kettle and the power base with a damp sponge and buff dry with a clean cloth.
  • Descaling: Mineral deposits may build up over time. To descale, add 1/4 cup white vinegar to 3/4 cup water in the kettle and let it sit for 20 minutes. Rinse thoroughly with fresh water.
  • Do Not Submerge: Never submerge the kettle or its power base in water or any other liquid.
  • Hand Wash Only: The kettle is not dishwasher safe.
