Setup
- Unpacking: Carefully remove the pizza oven and all accessories from the packaging. Retain packaging for future storage or transport if needed.
- Placement: Place the pizza oven on a stable, heat-resistant, and flat surface. Ensure there is adequate clearance around the appliance for ventilation. Do not place it near flammable materials.
- Initial Cleaning: Before first use, wipe the exterior of the oven with a damp cloth. The ceramic stone plate can be wiped with a dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or immerse the unit in water.
- First Use (Burn-in):
- Plug the oven into a suitable electrical outlet (240V).
- Turn the temperature control to maximum (setting 5) and the timer to 15 minutes.
- Allow the oven to heat up for 15 minutes without any food inside. This process helps to burn off any manufacturing residues and odors. A slight odor or smoke may be present during this initial heating; this is normal. Ensure the area is well-ventilated.
- After 15 minutes, turn off the oven and unplug it. Allow it to cool completely before proceeding.
Operating Instructions
Preheating the Oven:
- Ensure the ceramic stone plate is properly seated inside the oven.
- Plug the oven into a grounded electrical outlet.
- Turn the temperature control knob to the desired setting, typically maximum (setting 5) for pizza. The indicator light will illuminate.
- Set the timer to 10-15 minutes for preheating. The oven needs to reach its optimal temperature for best results. The indicator light will turn off once the set temperature is reached, and cycle on/off during operation to maintain temperature.
- While the oven preheats, prepare your pizza.

Cooking Your Pizza:
- Once the oven is preheated, carefully open the lid using the handles. Be cautious of hot steam.
- Lightly dust the wooden pizza peel with flour or semolina to prevent sticking.
- Place your prepared pizza onto the wooden peel.
- Slide the pizza from the peel directly onto the hot ceramic stone plate inside the oven.
- Close the lid immediately to retain heat.
- Set the timer for 3-5 minutes, depending on your pizza dough and desired crispiness. Use the viewing window to monitor cooking progress.
- When the pizza is cooked to your liking, carefully open the lid and use the wooden peel to remove the pizza.
- Close the lid to maintain heat for the next pizza, or turn off the oven if you are finished.
Tips for Best Results:
- Dough: Use fresh or homemade pizza dough for superior results. Ensure the dough is at room temperature.
- Toppings: Do not overload your pizza with toppings, as this can lead to uneven cooking and a soggy crust. Distribute toppings evenly.
- Cheese: Add cheese towards the end of the cooking process if you prefer it less browned, or use a cheese that browns well.
- Pre-baking: For very wet toppings or thick crusts, you may pre-bake the dough for 1-2 minutes before adding toppings.
- Stone Care: Avoid cutting pizza directly on the ceramic stone to prevent damage.
Maintenance and Cleaning
Regular cleaning and maintenance will ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your pizza oven.
- Always unplug the appliance and allow it to cool completely before cleaning.
- Ceramic Stone Plate:
- Once cooled, carefully remove the ceramic stone plate from the oven.
- Scrape off any burnt-on food residues using a plastic scraper or a stiff brush.
- For stubborn stains, you can use a damp cloth, but avoid soap or detergents as they can be absorbed by the porous stone and affect future pizza flavors.
- Allow the stone to air dry completely before placing it back into the oven or storing it. Do not immerse the stone in water.
- Discoloration of the stone over time is normal and does not affect performance.
- Oven Interior and Exterior:
- Wipe the interior and exterior surfaces of the oven with a soft, damp cloth.
- Do not use abrasive cleaners, scouring pads, or harsh chemicals, as they can damage the finish.
- Ensure no water enters the electrical components.
- Accessories: Wash the wooden pizza peel and pizza cutter with warm soapy water, rinse, and dry thoroughly.
- Storage: Store the clean and dry pizza oven in a cool, dry place.
Troubleshooting
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Oven does not heat up. | Not plugged in; power outlet malfunction; timer not set; temperature knob not turned. | Check power cord connection; test outlet with another appliance; set the timer; turn the temperature knob to a setting. |
| Pizza crust is not crispy. | Oven not sufficiently preheated; too many toppings; dough too thick or wet. | Ensure oven preheats for 10-15 minutes at maximum temperature; reduce toppings; use thinner dough or pre-bake dough. |
| Pizza sticks to the stone. | Not enough flour/semolina on peel; stone not hot enough; dough too sticky. | Dust peel generously with flour/semolina; ensure oven is fully preheated; adjust dough recipe or use less sticky dough. |
| Excessive smoke/odor during cooking. | Food residue on stone; first use burn-off. | Clean the ceramic stone thoroughly after each use; this is normal for first use, ensure ventilation. |
| Timer not working. | Timer mechanism fault. | If the timer is broken, you can use an external timer. Contact customer support for repair or replacement if under warranty. |
