Setup

1. Controller Battery Installation

  • Locate the battery compartment on the back of the controller.
  • Open the battery compartment cover.
  • Insert 2 x AAA batteries (not included), ensuring correct polarity (+/-).
  • Close the battery compartment cover securely.

2. Charging the Drone

  • Ensure the drone is powered off.
  • Connect the small end of the USB charger cable to the charging port on the drone.
  • Connect the large end of the USB charger cable to a powered USB port (e.g., computer, USB wall adapter).
  • The charging indicator light on the USB cable will illuminate during charging.
  • Charging typically takes approximately 30 minutes.
  • Once fully charged, the indicator light will change or turn off (refer to charger specific behavior). Disconnect the drone from the charger.
  • A full charge provides approximately 7 minutes of play time.

Operating Instructions

1. Powering On and Pairing

  • Turn on the drone by sliding the power switch to the "ON" position. The drone's lights will begin to flash.
  • Turn on the controller by pressing the power button. The controller's indicator light will flash.
  • To pair, push the left joystick (throttle) all the way up, then all the way down. The drone and controller lights will become solid, indicating successful pairing.

2. Land Mode Operation

To operate in land mode, securely attach the drone to its land vehicle base. Ensure the drone is properly seated and locked into the base.

  • Forward/Backward: Push the right joystick forward or backward.
  • Steering (Left/Right): Push the right joystick left or right.
  • The drone's propellers provide thrust for ground movement, allowing for high-speed racing and drifting.

3. Flight Mode Operation

To switch to flight mode, detach the drone from its land vehicle base. The drone is designed to be easily ejected for aerial maneuvers.

  • Take-off/Landing: Gently push the left joystick (throttle) up to take off. Pull down to land.
  • Altitude Control: Use the left joystick (throttle) to control the drone's ascent and descent.
  • Directional Control: Use the right joystick to move the drone forward, backward, left, or right.
  • Stunts: Press the dedicated stunt button (refer to controller diagram in instruction sheet) to perform a 360° barrel roll.
  • Self-Righting Cage: The drone features a self-righting cage, ensuring it lands upright even after impacts, making it ready for immediate take-off.

Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the drone and controller. Do not use harsh chemicals or water.
  • Propeller Replacement: If a propeller becomes damaged, replace it with a spare propeller from the package. Carefully remove the damaged propeller and snap the new one into place. Ensure correct orientation.
  • Storage: When not in use, store the drone and controller in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight. Remove batteries from the controller if storing for extended periods.
