• If the CD changer port is already in use by an existing CD changer, an additional MP3/CDC Switch Cable may be required to combine the YATOUR adapter with the CD changer.
• A Splitter/Y cable is necessary if the CD changer port is occupied by a navigation system.

Setup and Installation

1. Prepare the Vehicle: Turn off the vehicle's ignition and disconnect the negative terminal of the car battery to prevent electrical shorts.
2. Access the Stereo: Carefully remove the car stereo unit from the dashboard to access the rear ports. Refer to your vehicle's service manual for specific instructions on stereo removal.
3. Locate CD Changer Port: Identify the 6+6PIN CD changer port on the back of your factory stereo. This is where the YATOUR adapter will connect.

4. Connect the Adapter: Plug the vehicle-specific 6+6PIN CDC connector cable from the YATOUR adapter into the corresponding port on the car stereo. Ensure a secure connection.

5. Connect Microphone (Optional): If using the hands-free calling feature, connect the external microphone to the designated port on the YATOUR adapter. Route the microphone cable to a suitable location, such as near the rearview mirror or on the A-pillar, for optimal voice pickup.
