3. Setup

1. Unpack the Appliance: Carefully remove the flat iron from its packaging. Ensure all components are present and inspect for any damage.
2. Choose a Suitable Location: Place the flat iron on a heat-resistant, flat surface away from water and flammable materials. Ensure there is enough space to comfortably maneuver the iron.
3. Plug In: Insert the power cord into a suitable electrical outlet. The universal dual voltage feature allows for use in various regions.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Powering On and Temperature Setting

1. Turn On: Press and hold the ON/OFF button until the digital LCD display illuminates.
2. Adjust Temperature: Use the (+) and (-) buttons to select your desired temperature. The temperature can be adjusted up to 450°F. Allow the iron to heat up completely before use. The digital display will show the current temperature.

4.2 Hair Preparation

• Ensure hair is clean, dry, and free of tangles.
• Apply a heat protectant spray evenly throughout your hair.
• Section your hair into manageable portions using clips.

4.3 Styling Techniques

The wide, multi-directional floating plates allow for various styling options:

• Straightening: Take a small section of hair and place it between the plates, close to the roots. Gently clamp the iron and glide it slowly down the hair shaft to the ends. Repeat until desired straightness is achieved.
• Creating Waves/Curls: For soft waves or curls, clamp a section of hair and rotate the iron 180 degrees as you glide it down the hair shaft. The rounded edges of the plates facilitate this motion.

4.4 Powering Off

After styling, press and hold the ON/OFF button until the display turns off. Unplug the appliance from the electrical outlet and allow it to cool completely before storing.
