4. Setup & Installation

The BLT Series LED Troffer is designed for installation in standard drop ceilings. Ensure power is disconnected before proceeding.

4.1 Pre-Installation Checks

• Confirm the ceiling grid opening is 2 ft x 2 ft (approximately 23-3/4" x 23-3/4").
• Verify that the plenum depth is sufficient for the fixture's 2-3/8" depth.
• Ensure wiring is available and meets local electrical codes.

4.2 Installation Steps

1. Disconnect Power: Turn off power at the circuit breaker or fuse box to avoid electrical shock.
2. Prepare Opening: Remove the existing ceiling tile from the desired installation location.
3. Position Fixture: Carefully lift the LED troffer into the ceiling grid opening. The fixture's end plates contain integral T-bar clips for secure attachment.
4. Secure Fixture: Engage the T-bar clips to firmly secure the luminaire to the T-grid.
5. Wiring Connections:
   • Open the wiring compartment cover on the fixture.
   • Connect the building's supply wires to the fixture's wires according to the wiring diagram (typically black to black, white to white, and ground to ground).
   • If using 0-10V dimming, connect the purple (dimming positive) and gray (dimming negative) wires to the compatible dimming control wires.

6. Close Wiring Compartment: Replace the wiring compartment cover.
7. Restore Power: Turn on power at the circuit breaker or fuse box.

5. Operating Instructions
