5. Installation

The BLT Series LED Troffer is designed for easy installation in standard drop ceilings. Its shallow 2-3/8" depth accommodates restrictive plenum settings.

Prepare the Installation Area: Ensure the power supply to the installation area is turned off at the circuit breaker. Clear any obstructions in the ceiling grid where the fixture will be installed.
Position the Fixture: Carefully lift the LED troffer into the ceiling grid opening. The end plates feature integral T-bar clips designed for secure attachment to the T-grid.
Secure the Fixture: Engage the T-bar clips to firmly hold the luminaire in place within the ceiling grid.
Wiring Connections: Access the wiring compartment. Connect the fixture's electrical wires to the building's power supply wires (line, neutral, and ground) according to local electrical codes. For dimming functionality, connect the 0-10V dimming wires to a compatible dimming control system.
Close Wiring Compartment: Ensure all wiring connections are secure and properly insulated. Close the wiring compartment cover.
Restore Power: Once installation is complete and all connections are verified, restore power at the circuit breaker.

6. Operating Instructions

The Lithonia Lighting BLT Series LED Troffer provides instant-on illumination upon power activation. For models equipped with dimming capabilities:

Dimming Control: This fixture is compatible with 0-10V dimming systems, allowing you to adjust the light output down to 10% of its full brightness. Connect the fixture to a compatible 0-10V dimmer switch (sold separately) for variable light control.
On/Off Control: Use a standard wall switch to turn the light fixture on or off.

7. Maintenance

The BLT Series LED Troffer Light is designed for minimal maintenance due to its long-life LED technology.

Cleaning: To maintain optimal light output and appearance, periodically clean the acrylic diffuser with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid using abrasive cleaners, solvents, or harsh chemicals, as these can damage the diffuser material.
