4. Setup and Installation

4.1 Component Identification

  • Steam Outlet: Connects to the steam line leading to the steam room. No valve should be installed in this line.
  • Pressure Relief Valve: Install the provided 10 PSI valve here. This is a critical safety component.
  • Water Inlet: Connects to the cold water supply. Use two wrenches to avoid damage during connection.
  • Drain: Connects to a suitable drain line. The unit features an automatic drain function.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 KS-150 Controller Functions

  • Power On/Off: Use the designated button to turn the steam generator on or off.
  • Temperature Control: Adjust the desired steam room temperature using the up/down arrows. The controlling temperature range is 95 to 131 Fahrenheit (35 to 55 Celsius).
  • Time Setting: Set the desired operating time for the steam session. The controlling time range is 1 to 60 minutes.
  • Automatic Drain: The unit features an automatic drain function, which will activate after each session or when manually initiated, to prevent mineral buildup.
  • Light Control: If connected, the controller may also manage steam room lighting.

Once the desired temperature and time are set, the generator will begin heating. Steam production will start once the water reaches the boiling point.
