4. Setup Guide

1. Unpack the Scale: Carefully remove all components from the packaging. Retain packaging for future storage or transport.

5. Operation

5.1. Button Functions

• ON/OFF: Press to turn the scale on or off.
• TARE: Press to zero out the weight of a container or to subtract the weight of previously added items.
• MODE/CAL: Press to cycle through different weighing units (modes). Hold to enter calibration mode (refer to 5.3 for calibration).
• ZERO: Press to reset the display to zero if there is a small residual weight on the platform or to re-establish zero point.

5.2. Weighing Procedure

1. Power On: Press the ON/OFF button to turn on the scale. The display will show '0.0' or '0' when ready.
2. Select Unit (Mode): Press the MODE/CAL button repeatedly to cycle through the available weighing units: 20lb x 0.1oz, 320oz x 0.1oz, 320oz x 1/8oz, and 10000g x 2g. Select your desired unit.
3. Tare (if using a container): If you are using a container, place the empty container on the stainless steel platform. Wait for the reading to stabilize, then press the TARE button. The display will reset to '0.0', effectively subtracting the container's weight.
4. Place Item: Carefully place the item(s) to be weighed onto the container or directly onto the stainless steel platform.
5. Read Measurement: The weight will be displayed on the large LCD screen. Wait for the reading to stabilize before noting the measurement.
6. Power Off: When finished, press the ON/OFF button to turn off the scale. The scale also features an auto shut-off feature to conserve battery life.
