1. Introduction

The GODOX TT350N is a compact and versatile TTL (Through-The-Lens) speedlight designed specifically for Nikon cameras. This mini flash offers a guide number of GN36 (ISO 100, 105mm) and supports a range of advanced functions including 2.4G wireless transmission, 1/8000s High-Speed Sync (HSS), Flash Exposure Compensation (FEC), front and rear curtain sync, and multi-flash modes. Its lightweight and portable design makes it ideal for various photography scenarios, from portraits to travel and on-location shooting. This manual provides detailed instructions for the proper setup, operation, and maintenance of your TT350N flash.

2. Safety Information

• Do not disassemble or modify the flash unit. This could lead to electric shock or malfunction.
• Keep the unit dry. Do not handle with wet hands or immerse in water.
• Avoid direct eye exposure to the flash. The intense light can cause temporary visual impairment.
• Use only specified batteries (2x AA batteries). Incorrect battery types or improper installation can cause leakage, overheating, or explosion.
• Do not operate the flash in the presence of flammable gases or liquids.
• Store the flash in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
• Remove batteries when the flash is not in use for extended periods to prevent leakage.

4.2. LCD Panel

The LCD panel provides clear and easy operation, displaying current settings such as flash mode, zoom level, and power output. Use the four function buttons and the jog dial to navigate and adjust parameters.

5. Setup

5.1. Battery Installation

The TT350N flash uses two AA batteries (Ni-MH batteries are recommended for optimal performance and faster recycle times).

1. Open the battery compartment cover located on the side of the flash unit.
2. Insert two AA batteries according to the polarity indicators (+/-) inside the compartment.
3. Close the battery compartment cover securely.

5.2. Mounting the Flash to Your Camera

To attach the TT350N to your Nikon camera's hotshoe:

1. Ensure the flash is powered off.
2. Slide the hotshoe of the flash into the camera's hotshoe mount.
3. Rotate the lock ring clockwise until it is securely tightened, ensuring the flash is firmly attached to the camera.
4. To remove, rotate the lock ring counter-clockwise and slide the flash off.

6. Operating Instructions

6.1. Power On/Off

Press the power switch button to turn the flash on or off. The flash ready indicator will light up when the flash is charged and ready to fire.

6.2. Flash Modes

Press the MODE button to cycle through the available flash modes: TTL, Manual (M), and Multi (Stroboscopic).

• TTL Autoflash Mode: This mode automatically adjusts the flash output to achieve correct exposure. It supports TTL autoflash, Flash Exposure Compensation (FEC), and High-Speed Sync (HSS).

• Manual (M) Mode: Allows you to manually set the flash output power from 1/1 (full power) to 1/128 in 1/3 stop increments. Use the Select Dial to adjust the power output.
• Multi (Stroboscopic) Mode: Fires a series of rapid flashes to capture multiple movements of a subject in a single image. You can set the number of flashes, flash frequency (Hz), and flash output.

6.3. High-Speed Sync (HSS)

The TT350N supports High-Speed Sync (HSS) up to 1/8000s, allowing you to use flash with fast shutter speeds, which is useful for freezing action or shooting with wide apertures in bright conditions. Press the SYNC button to activate HSS.

6.4. Flash Exposure Compensation (FEC)

FEC allows you to fine-tune the flash output in TTL mode. Adjust the FEC value using the Select Dial to make the flash brighter or darker, typically from -3 to +3 stops.

6.5. Zoom Function

The flash head's zoom coverage can be adjusted automatically or manually from 24mm to 105mm to match the lens focal length. Press the ZOOM button to switch between auto and manual zoom, then use the Select Dial to set the manual zoom level.

6.6. Wireless Transmission (Master & Slave Function)

The TT350N features a built-in 2.4G wireless X System, allowing it to function as both a master and a slave unit. This enables wireless control and triggering with other Godox products.

• As a Master Unit: The TT350N can control other Godox slave flash models such as AD200, AD200 Pro, AD300 Pro, AD400 Pro, AD600BM, AD600 Pro, V860II-N, V860III-N, TT685II-N, V1-N, V1Pro-N, V850II, V850III, and TT600.
• As a Slave Unit: The TT350N can be controlled by Godox master flash models like X1T-N, X2T-N, XPro-N, XProII-N, X3N, V860II-N, V860III-N, TT685II-N, and TT600.

6.7. Flash Head Angle Adjustment

The flash head can be rotated and tilted to bounce light off ceilings or walls, providing softer and more natural illumination.

• Vertical Rotation: The flash head can be rotated vertically from -7° to 90°.
• Horizontal Rotation: The flash head can be rotated horizontally from 0° to 270°.

7. Maintenance

• Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the flash unit. For stubborn dirt, a slightly damp cloth can be used, followed by a dry one. Do not use strong detergents or solvents.
• Storage: When not in use for extended periods, remove the batteries to prevent leakage and store the flash in its protective case in a cool, dry place.
• Avoid Impact: Protect the flash from strong impacts or drops, which can damage internal components.
• Temperature: Avoid exposing the flash to extreme temperatures or high humidity.

8. Troubleshooting

• Flash does not fire:
  • Check if the batteries are correctly inserted and have sufficient charge.
  • Ensure the flash is securely mounted on the camera's hotshoe and the lock ring is tightened.
  • Verify that the flash is powered on and the flash ready indicator is lit.
  • Check camera settings to ensure external flash is enabled.
• Flash output is too weak/strong:
  • In TTL mode, adjust the Flash Exposure Compensation (FEC) settings.
  • In Manual mode, adjust the power output level.
  • Ensure the flash zoom matches the lens focal length.
• Slow recycle time:
  • Replace batteries with fresh ones, preferably Ni-MH rechargeable batteries.
  • Allow the flash to cool down if it has been used continuously at high power.
• Wireless triggering issues:
  • Ensure both master and slave units are set to the same channel and group.
  • Check for obstructions between the master and slave units.
  • Verify that the wireless mode is correctly activated on both units.
