Operating Instructions
General Operation:
- Power On/Off: Press the POWER button to turn the unit on or off.
- Volume Control: Rotate the VOLUME knob to adjust the sound level.
- Mode Selection: Press the INPUT/MODE button to cycle through CD, Bluetooth, AM/FM Radio, USB, and AUX modes.
CD Player Operation:
The unit supports MP3, CD, CD-R, and CD-RW formats.
- Press the INPUT/MODE button until "CD" appears on the LCD display.
- Open the top-loading CD compartment cover.
- Place a CD with the label side facing up onto the spindle.
- Close the CD compartment cover. The CD will begin to spin, and the total number of tracks will be displayed.
- Press the PLAY/PAUSE button (►/‖) to start playback.
- Press the PLAY/PAUSE button again to pause playback. Press again to resume.
- Press the STOP button (■) to stop playback.
- Press the SKIP FORWARD (►►) or SKIP BACKWARD (◄◄) buttons to skip tracks.
- Press and hold SKIP FORWARD or SKIP BACKWARD to fast forward or rewind within a track.
- Repeat Function: Press the REPEAT button to cycle through Repeat One (repeats current track), Repeat All (repeats all tracks), and normal playback.
- Program Function:
- In STOP mode, press the PROGRAM button. "PROG" will flash on the display.
- Use the SKIP FORWARD/BACKWARD buttons to select the desired track.
- Press PROGRAM again to confirm the track. Repeat for up to 99 tracks.
- Press PLAY/PAUSE to start programmed playback.
Bluetooth Operation:
Connect your Bluetooth-enabled devices wirelessly.
- Press the INPUT/MODE button until "BT" or "Bluetooth" appears on the LCD display. The unit will enter pairing mode, indicated by a flashing Bluetooth icon.
- Enable Bluetooth on your external device (e.g., smartphone, tablet).
- Search for "SC-739BT" in your device's Bluetooth list and select it to pair.
- Once paired, the Bluetooth icon on the boombox display will stop flashing and remain solid.
- You can now play audio from your connected device through the boombox. Use your device or the boombox controls for playback (Play/Pause, Skip).
AM/FM Radio Operation:
The unit features PLL tuning for stable radio reception.
- Press the INPUT/MODE button until "RADIO" or the frequency appears on the LCD display.
- Rotate the TUNING knob to manually select your desired AM or FM station.
- For automatic scanning, press and hold the SKIP FORWARD or SKIP BACKWARD buttons. The radio will scan and stop at the next strong station.
- Adjust the VOLUME knob to your preferred listening level.
Cassette Recorder Operation:
Play and record audio on cassette tapes.
Playing a Cassette:
- Press the INPUT/MODE button to select "TAPE" mode.
- Open the cassette deck door.
- Insert a cassette tape with the open edge facing up.
- Close the cassette deck door.
- Press the PLAY button (►) on the cassette deck controls to start playback.

- Insert a blank cassette tape into the cassette deck.

- Press the RECORD button (●) on the cassette deck. The PLAY button will also engage.

- Press the INPUT/MODE button until "USB" appears on the LCD display.
- The unit will automatically detect and begin playing compatible audio files (e.g., MP3).
- Use the PLAY/PAUSE, STOP, SKIP FORWARD/BACKWARD buttons to control playback.
AUX Input:
Connect external audio devices (e.g., MP3 players, older smartphones) via a 3.5mm audio cable.
- Connect one end of a 3.5mm audio cable (not included) to the AUX IN jack on the boombox.

- Start playback on your external device. Audio will be routed through the boombox speakers.
- Adjust volume using the boombox's VOLUME knob and/or your external device's volume control.
Headphone Jack:
For private listening, plug standard 3.5mm stereo headphones into the HEADPHONE jack. The speakers will automatically mute.
Remote Control:

Maintenance
Cleaning:
- Wipe the exterior of the unit with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- For the CD lens, use a specialized CD lens cleaning kit.
- For the cassette deck, periodically clean the tape heads and pinch rollers with a cotton swab lightly dampened with isopropyl alcohol.
Battery Replacement:
