  • Temperature Adjustment: Use the 'HOT AIR TEMPERATURE' knob to set the desired hot air temperature. The digital display will show both the set temperature and the actual air temperature.
  • Airflow Adjustment: Use the 'AIR FLOW' knob to control the volume of air output from the hot air gun.
  • Nozzle Replacement: Allow the hot air gun to cool before changing nozzles. Select the appropriate nozzle for your task and firmly press it onto the gun's outlet.
  • Auto Cool-off Process: After use, place the hot air gun back into its holder. The unit will automatically initiate a cool-off process, where the blower continues to run until the nozzle is cool. This prolongs the life of the heating element and ensures safety. Do not power off the unit until this cycle is complete.
  • Heating Core Monitoring: The microprocessor-controlled hot air heating core system includes self-testing capabilities, warning the user when aging or breakdown of the heating core occurs.

4. Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your station.

  • Soldering Tips: Clean soldering iron tips regularly with a damp sponge or brass wool to remove oxidation and solder residue. Always tin the tip with a small amount of solder before storing to prevent oxidation.
  • Hot Air Nozzles: Ensure hot air nozzles are free from debris or solder splatter. Clean gently with a non-abrasive tool if necessary, only when the unit is cool and unplugged.
  • General Cleaning: Wipe the exterior of the unit with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners, solvents, or immerse any part of the unit in liquid.
  • Heating Element Check: The hot air heating core system's self-testing function will alert you to potential issues. If warnings appear, refer to the troubleshooting section or contact support.
