3. Setup
3.1 Battery Installation
The Godox TT350S requires two AA batteries for operation. To install, locate the battery compartment on the side of the flash unit. Open the compartment cover, insert the batteries according to the polarity indicators (+/-), and securely close the cover.

3.2 Mounting on Camera
To mount the TT350S onto your camera, slide the flash unit's hotshoe into the camera's hotshoe mount. Secure it by rotating the lock ring clockwise until it is firmly attached. Ensure the hotshoe connection is clean and free of debris for optimal communication between the flash and camera.
4. Operating Modes
The Godox TT350S offers several operating modes to suit various photographic needs:
4.1 TTL Autoflash Mode
In TTL (Through-The-Lens) mode, the flash automatically measures the light through the camera's lens and adjusts its output for correct exposure. This mode simplifies flash photography by providing automatic and accurate light control.

Figure 4.1: TTL mode display and functionality.
4.2 Manual (M) Flash Mode
Manual mode allows you to precisely control the flash output, offering 8 levels of output control (1/128 to 1/1) with 22 levels of fine adjustment. This mode is ideal for photographers who prefer full control over their lighting.
4.3 Multi Stroboscopic Flash Mode
Multi mode is used to record the continuous motion of a subject by firing a series of rapid flashes. You can adjust the flash frequency and the number of flashes to capture dynamic sequences.
4.4 High-Speed Sync (HSS)
HSS allows the flash to synchronize with shutter speeds up to 1/8000s, enabling you to use flash in bright ambient light conditions or with wide apertures for shallow depth of field effects.

5. Flash Head Adjustment
The flash head of the TT350S offers flexible adjustment for bouncing light and achieving desired lighting effects:
- Vertical Tilt: The flash head can tilt from -7° to 90° vertically.
- Horizontal Rotation: The flash head can rotate from 0° to 270° horizontally.
These adjustments allow you to bounce the flash off ceilings or walls for softer, more natural illumination, or to direct light precisely as needed.

6. Maintenance
To ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your Godox TT350S Flash Speedlite, follow these maintenance guidelines:
- Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the flash body. For the LCD screen and flash tube, use a microfiber cloth specifically designed for optics. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.
- Storage: When not in use, store the flash in its protective bag in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. Remove batteries if the flash will not be used for an extended period to prevent leakage.
- Handling: Handle the flash with care. Avoid dropping it or subjecting it to strong impacts, as this can damage internal components.
- Hotshoe Protection: Always use the provided hotshoe cover when the flash is not mounted on a camera to protect the electrical contacts from dust and damage.
7. Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your Godox TT350S, refer to the following common troubleshooting steps:
- Flash Not Firing:
- Check if the batteries are correctly inserted and have sufficient charge.
- Ensure the flash is securely mounted on the camera's hotshoe.
- Verify that the flash is powered on and not in sleep mode.
- Check camera flash settings to ensure external flash is enabled.
- If using wireless mode, ensure the master and slave units are on the same channel and group.
- Incorrect Exposure:
- In TTL mode, check Flash Exposure Compensation (FEC) settings on both the flash and camera.
- In Manual mode, adjust the flash power output (1/1 to 1/128) as needed.
- Ensure the flash head zoom matches the lens focal length or is set to auto.
- Check for obstructions between the flash and subject, or if bouncing, ensure the surface is neutral colored.
- Slow Recycle Time:
- Replace batteries with fresh ones or use high-quality rechargeable batteries.
- Allow the flash to cool down if it has been used continuously at high power.
- LCD Screen Not Displaying:
- Check battery charge.
- Press any button to wake the screen from sleep mode.
