Setup Instructions

  3. Securing the Ramp: Use the provided security pins to anchor the ramp to the elevated surface if possible, or ensure the ramp's top lip is firmly seated and cannot slip. For vehicle applications, a safety strap (not included) may be used to secure the ramp to a hitch or other anchor point.
  4. Stability Check: Before use, gently apply pressure to the ramp to confirm it is stable and does not shift or slide.

Operating Instructions

  1. Ascending the Ramp: Approach the ramp slowly and squarely. Maintain a steady, controlled pace. If using a powered mobility device, follow its manufacturer's instructions for ramp use.
  2. Descending the Ramp: Descend slowly and carefully, maintaining control. If using a powered mobility device, use the lowest speed setting and follow its manufacturer's instructions.
  3. Weight Distribution: Ensure weight is evenly distributed on the ramp. Avoid sudden movements or sharp turns while on the ramp.

Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Clean the ramp regularly with mild soap and water. Rinse thoroughly and allow to dry completely before storage or next use.

Troubleshooting

Difficulty with traction:
