Operating Instructions
1. Powering On/Off:
- Power On: Press the Power button on the rear panel. The displays will illuminate, and the unit will initialize.
- Power Off: Press and hold the Power button until the unit shuts down.
2. Standalone Engine Operation:
- Insert a USB drive with Engine-analyzed music.
- Use the navigation controls to browse your music library on the high-definition displays.
- Load tracks to decks using the Load buttons.
- Utilize the jog wheels, performance pads, and mixer controls for mixing and effects.
3. Serato DJ Pro Operation:
- Ensure your computer is connected via USB and Serato DJ Pro is running.
- The MCX8000 will automatically act as a controller for Serato DJ Pro.
- Control your Serato library, decks, and effects directly from the MCX8000. The displays will show Serato waveforms and library information.
4. Mixer Functions:
- Channel Faders: Adjust the volume of individual channels.
- Crossfader: Blend between channels 1/2 and 3/4.
