Maintenance

Regular maintenance is crucial for the longevity and optimal performance of your generator. Refer to the detailed maintenance schedule in your user manual for specific intervals.

Oil Changes

Perform oil changes at recommended intervals. The generator features a convenient oil drain plug for easy oil removal. Ensure the engine is warm before draining the oil for better flow. Always use the specified type and amount of oil as per the manual.

Air Filter Maintenance

Regularly inspect and clean the air filter. The air filter cover can be easily removed using clamps. Clean the filter element with warm, soapy water, rinse thoroughly, and allow it to dry completely before reinstallation. Replace if damaged.

Fuel System Care

For long-term storage (over 30 days), it is recommended to drain the fuel tank and carburetor bowl, or use a fuel stabilizer to prevent fuel degradation and carburetor issues. Turn off the fuel valve and let the engine run until it stops from lack of fuel to ensure the carburetor is empty.

Battery Charging

The generator includes a 12V battery charger. For extended storage, connect the charger to the dedicated port on the control panel and plug it into a wall outlet to maintain battery charge and prolong its lifespan.

Troubleshooting

This section provides solutions to common issues you might encounter with your generator. For more complex problems, consult the full user manual or contact customer support.

Engine Not Starting

  • Check Fuel Level: Ensure there is sufficient gasoline in the tank.
  • Check Oil Level: Low oil will trigger automatic shutdown. Add oil if necessary.
  • Fuel Valve: Confirm the fuel valve is in the 'ON' position.
  • Choke Position: For cold starts, ensure the choke is in the 'ON' position. Move to 'OFF' once running.
  • Battery: Verify the battery is connected and charged. Use the included charger if needed.
  • Spark Plug: Inspect the spark plug for fouling or damage. Clean or replace if necessary.

Oil Leakage

Some users have reported minor oil leakages from the oil drain plug. Ensure the drain plug is securely tightened. If the issue persists, check for the presence and condition of the crush washer on the drain plug. Replacing a worn or missing crush washer can often resolve this issue. If the problem continues, contact customer support.
