• Cold Ash Only: This appliance is designed exclusively for vacuuming COLD ASH. Do not vacuum hot ash, embers, or any burning materials. Hot ash can cause fire and severe damage to the appliance and surroundings.
• No Liquids: Do not vacuum liquids or wet materials. This is a dry ash vacuum.
• Electrical Safety: Ensure the power supply voltage matches the rating on the appliance. Do not use the appliance with a damaged cord or plug. Do not immerse the appliance in water or other liquids.
• Supervision: This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.

4. Setup

1. Filter Installation:

   Open the lid of the ash vacuum cleaner. Ensure the washable cartridge filter is securely placed over the motor housing. Then, place the pre-filter for fine dust over the cartridge filter. Close the lid, ensuring it latches properly.
2. Hose Connection:

   Insert the flexible steel hose into the suction inlet on the main unit. Twist or push firmly until it is securely connected. Ensure there are no leaks at the connection point.

3. Power Connection:

   Plug the power cord into a suitable electrical outlet (230V AC). Ensure the outlet is easily accessible.

5. Operating Instructions

Follow these steps for safe and effective ash collection:

1. Preparation:

   Ensure the ash you intend to vacuum is completely cold. Wait at least 24-48 hours after the last fire, or until you are certain no embers remain. Never vacuum hot ash or embers.

2. Power On:

   Press the ON/OFF switch located on the unit to start the ash vacuum cleaner.
3. Ash Collection:

   Direct the nozzle of the flexible steel hose towards the cold ash. Move the nozzle slowly over the ash to ensure thorough collection. The steel shaft is designed for durability during this process.

4. Filter Cleaning System (Scuotifiltro):

   If suction power decreases during operation, the filter may be clogged. This model features a filter cleaning system (scuotifiltro). Refer to the specific mechanism on your unit, which typically involves a lever or button to shake the filter and dislodge accumulated ash. This can be done periodically during longer cleaning sessions to maintain suction.
5. Power Off:

   Once you have finished collecting ash, press the ON/OFF switch to turn off the appliance. Unplug the power cord from the electrical outlet.

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and extends the lifespan of your ash vacuum cleaner.

1. Emptying the Container:

   After each use, or when the container is full, disconnect the unit from power. Unlatch and remove the lid. Carefully lift the filter assembly and empty the collected ash into a suitable, non-combustible waste container. Tap the container gently to dislodge any remaining ash.

2. Cleaning the Washable Filter:

   The cartridge filter and pre-filter are washable. Remove them from the unit. Gently tap them to remove loose ash. For a more thorough cleaning, rinse them under cold running water until the water runs clear. Allow the filters to air dry completely before re-installing them. Do not use the vacuum with wet filters.

3. Cleaning the Hose and Nozzle:

   Periodically check the flexible steel hose and nozzle for blockages. Clear any obstructions using a non-sharp object. Wipe the exterior of the hose and nozzle with a damp cloth if necessary.
4. Exterior Cleaning:

   Wipe the exterior of the ash vacuum cleaner with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
