4. Setup and Assembly
4.1 Attaching the Auxiliary Handle
- Loosen the auxiliary handle by twisting it counter-clockwise.
- Slide the handle over the chuck and onto the tool's collar.
- Adjust the handle to a comfortable and secure position.
- Tighten the handle by twisting it clockwise until it is firmly secured.
4.2 Installing the Depth Gauge
- Insert the depth gauge into the hole on the auxiliary handle.
- Adjust the depth gauge to the desired drilling depth by sliding it in or out.
- Ensure the depth gauge is securely positioned before operation.
4.3 Inserting SDS-Plus Bits
- Clean the shank of the SDS-plus bit.
- Pull back the chuck collar on the rotary hammer.
- Insert the bit into the chuck until it clicks into place.
- Release the chuck collar. The bit should have a slight amount of play (in-and-out movement) which is normal for the SDS-plus system.
- Pull on the bit to ensure it is securely locked before starting work.

5.1 Mode Selection
Rotate the mode selector switch to choose the desired operating mode:
- Drilling Only (Rotary Only): For drilling in wood, metal, and plastic without hammer action.
- Hammer Drilling (Rotary Hammer): For drilling in concrete, masonry, and stone with simultaneous rotation and hammer action.
- Chiseling (Hammer Only): For light chiseling, chipping, and demolition work without rotation.
5.2 Variable Speed Trigger
The tool is equipped with a variable-speed reversing trigger. Press the trigger lightly for lower speeds and increased pressure for higher speeds. This allows for accurate bit starting and controlled operation.
5.3 Vario-Lock Positioning for Chiseling
When in Chiseling (Hammer Only) mode, the Vario-Lock system allows you to rotate the chisel bit to the optimal working angle. Simply rotate the bit to the desired position and it will lock in place.

6. Maintenance
