Setup Instructions
Follow these steps to set up your Elgato Thunderbolt 3 Dock:
- Connect Power: Plug the included power supply unit into the dock's power input port on the rear panel, then connect it to a wall outlet.
- Connect to Computer: Use the provided Thunderbolt 3 cable to connect one of the Thunderbolt 3 ports on the rear of the dock to a Thunderbolt 3 port on your MacBook Pro or Windows notebook. This single cable will provide data, video, and up to 85W of power to your laptop.
- Connect Peripherals: Connect your USB devices (keyboard, mouse, external drives), Ethernet cable, and audio devices to the appropriate ports on the dock's front and rear panels.
- Connect Displays: Connect your external display(s) to the DisplayPort on the rear of the dock. If using a second display, connect it to the second Thunderbolt 3 port using a compatible adapter (not included).

Operating Instructions
Power Delivery
The dock delivers up to 85W of power to your connected laptop via the Thunderbolt 3 cable. Ensure your laptop's power requirements do not exceed this limit for optimal charging and performance. If your laptop requires more than 85W, it may charge slower or display a warning.
Display Connectivity
The Elgato Thunderbolt 3 Dock supports:
- Dual 4K displays at 60Hz (one via DisplayPort, one via the second Thunderbolt 3 port with an adapter).
