Setup and Installation

The Inspired LED Cut and Connect Kit is designed for easy customization and installation. Follow these steps to set up your LED lighting system:

1. 1. Plan Your Layout:

   Determine the desired length and placement of your LED strips. The flexible strip can be cut at designated points (marked with a copper pad) to fit your specific application. Measure carefully before cutting.

2. 2. Cut the LED Strip:

   Using scissors, carefully cut the LED strip at the marked copper pads. Ensure a clean, straight cut for optimal connection. Do not cut through the LEDs or other components.

3. 3. Attach Tiger Paw LED Connectors:

   The solderless Tiger Paw LED Connectors allow for easy attachment to the cut ends of the LED strip. Open the connector, insert the cut end of the LED strip with the copper pads facing down, and firmly close the connector until it clicks into place. Ensure the strip is fully seated for a reliable connection.

4. 4. Connect Interconnect Cables:

   Attach the 3-foot interconnect cables to the Tiger Paw connectors. These cables allow you to extend the reach of your LED strips or connect multiple segments.

5. 5. Mount the LED Strips:

   Peel off the backing from the 3M adhesive tape on the back of the LED strip and firmly press the strip onto a clean, dry surface. For added security, use the provided clips and screws at regular intervals, especially on longer runs or uneven surfaces.

6. 6. Connect Power Supply and Switch:

   Connect the power supply to one end of your LED strip system (either directly or via an interconnect cable). Then, connect an On/Off switch between the power supply and the LED strip for convenient control. Plug the power supply into a standard electrical outlet.

Operating Instructions

Operating your Inspired LED lighting system is straightforward:

• Power On/Off: Use the integrated On/Off switch to turn the LED lights on or off.
