Product Overview
The Rain Bird LNK2 Smart WiFi Module (2nd Generation) provides an easy upgrade path for compatible Rain Bird irrigation timers, enabling remote control and programming via a mobile application. This module allows for efficient water management, smart home integration, and real-time monitoring of your irrigation system from anywhere.

Compatibility
The LNK2 WiFi Module is compatible with specific Rain Bird irrigation timer models manufactured after November 2, 2016, which feature a WiFi symbol on their front control panel. Compatible models include all Rain Bird TRU controller models and ESP-LXIVM, ESP-ME, ESP ME3, ESP-TM2, LXME2, and RZXe series controllers.
The Rain Bird App supports Apple devices running iOS 8.0 or greater and Android devices running OS 6.0 (Marshmallow) or later.

Setup
Download the Rain Bird App:
Before installing the module, download the official Rain Bird App to your compatible mobile device. The app is available on both the Apple App Store and Google Play.

Insert LNK2 to Controller Port:
Locate the accessory port on your Rain Bird irrigation controller. This port is typically labeled 'ACCESSORY' or indicated by a WiFi symbol. Carefully insert the LNK2 WiFi Module into this port until it is securely seated. No tools are required for this step.

Add Controller in App:
Open the Rain Bird App on your mobile device. Follow the on-screen prompts to add your new controller. The app will guide you through the process of connecting the module to your home WiFi network and configuring initial settings. Ensure your mobile device's Bluetooth is enabled for initial pairing.

Operating the LNK2 Module
Once set up, the LNK2 module enables comprehensive control of your irrigation system through the Rain Bird App.
Remote Control Features:
Manage custom watering schedules, initiate watering for any single zone or all zones, create a Rain Delay to skip scheduled watering based on upcoming rain, and apply overall Seasonal Adjustments to system run times. You can also set tailored push notifications and receive real-time alerts about your system's status.

Smart Home Integration:
The LNK2 module supports voice-activated control through Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant, allowing you to manage your sprinkler system with simple voice commands.

Weather Adjustments:
The system monitors local daily weather conditions and automatically adjusts irrigation run times, ensuring your landscape receives only the necessary water and potentially saving up to 50% in water usage.
