General Safety Precautions:
- Always plug heaters directly into a wall outlet/receptacle. Never use with an extension cord or relocatable power tap (outlet/power strip).
- This heater is hot when in use. To avoid burns, do not let bare skin touch hot surfaces.
- Keep combustible materials, such as furniture, pillows, bedding, papers, clothes, and curtains at least 3 feet (0.9 m) from the front of the heater and keep them away from the sides and rear.
- Extreme caution is necessary when any heater is used by or near children or invalids and whenever the heater is left operating and unattended.
- Do not operate any heater with a damaged cord or plug or after the heater malfunctions, has been dropped or damaged in any manner.
- Do not use outdoors.
- Do not run cord under carpeting. Do not cover cord with throw rugs, runners, or similar coverings. Arrange cord away from traffic area and where it will not be tripped over.
- To disconnect heater, turn controls to off, then remove plug from outlet.
- Do not insert or allow foreign objects to enter any ventilation or exhaust opening as this may cause an electric shock or fire, or damage the heater.
- To prevent a possible fire, do not block air intakes or exhaust in any manner. Do not use on soft surfaces, like a bed, where openings may become blocked.
- All electrical heaters have hot and arcing or sparking parts inside. Do not use it in areas where gasoline, paint, or flammable vapors or liquids are used or stored.
- Use this heater only as described in this manual. Any other use not recommended by the manufacturer may cause fire, electric shock, or injury to persons.

2. Setup and Assembly
Unpacking and Inspection:
Carefully remove the unit from its packaging. Ensure all components are present and undamaged. Retain the packaging for future storage or if the unit needs to be returned.
Assembly:
The Duraflame Electric Fireplace Stove Heater requires minimal assembly, primarily attaching the legs.
- Carefully place the main body of the stove upside down on a soft, non-abrasive surface to prevent scratching.
- Attach each leg to the designated corner using the provided screws. Ensure they are securely fastened with a Phillips head screwdriver.
- Once all legs are attached, carefully turn the unit upright.
Placement:
Place the electric fireplace stove on a firm, level surface. Ensure there is adequate clearance from walls, furniture, and other combustible materials (at least 3 feet from the front, and clear on sides/rear). The unit is freestanding and portable, allowing flexible placement in your living room or other indoor spaces.

Power Connection:
Plug the power cord directly into a grounded 120V AC wall outlet. Do not use extension cords or power strips.
3. Operating Instructions
The Duraflame Electric Fireplace Stove Heater can be operated using the control panel located behind the operable glass door or with the included remote control.
Control Panel Overview:

- Power Button: Turns the unit ON or OFF.
- Flame Button: Adjusts the brightness and effect of the 3D flame. There are 5 flame settings, including an option to turn the flame off.
- Temperature Button: Adjusts the heat output. The thermostat can be set from 62°F to 82°F in 2-degree increments.
- Timer Button: Sets an automatic shut-off timer from 30 minutes up to 9 hours.
Remote Control Overview:

The remote control duplicates the functions of the control panel, allowing you to power on/off, adjust flame settings, set temperature, and activate the timer from a distance.
Basic Operation:
- Turning On/Off: Press the Power button on the control panel or remote.
- Adjusting Flame Effect: Press the Flame button repeatedly to cycle through the 5 brightness settings or turn the flame off. The realistic 3D flame effect can be operated with or without heat.
- Adjusting Heat/Temperature: Press the Temperature button to increase the desired room temperature. The unit will heat until the set temperature is reached, then cycle on and off to maintain it. The infrared quartz heat helps maintain natural humidity.
- Setting the Timer: Press the Timer button to set the automatic shut-off. Each press will cycle through 30 minutes, 1 hour, 2 hours, up to 9 hours.
- Independent Operation: The flame effect and heat functions can be operated independently. This allows you to enjoy the ambiance of the flames without heat during warmer periods.

4. Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your electric fireplace stove.
- Cleaning:
- Always unplug the unit from the power outlet before cleaning.
- Wipe the exterior surfaces with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Periodically clean the air intake and exhaust vents to ensure proper airflow and prevent overheating. Use a vacuum cleaner with a brush attachment to remove dust and debris.
- Storage: If storing the unit for an extended period, unplug it and store it in a cool, dry place, preferably in its original packaging to protect it from dust and damage.
5. Troubleshooting
