Package Contents

Please verify that all components are present and undamaged upon opening the package. If any parts are missing or damaged, contact Gator Frameworks customer support immediately.

Setup Instructions

  1. Unfold the Tripod Base: Place the tripod base on a flat surface. Extend the legs fully until they lock into their open position. Ensure the red rings on the rubber grip feet are visible and the base is stable.
  2. Insert Main Pole: Loosen the height adjustment knob on the tripod base. Insert the main pole into the top of the tripod base. Adjust to your desired height and secure by tightening the knob. For added security, insert the safety pin through the designated hole in the main pole and tripod base.
  3. Attach the Tray: The stand features a reversible tray. Determine which side you wish to use:
    • Flanged Side Up: For laptops, samplers, or other equipment that benefits from a raised edge to prevent sliding.
    • Flat Side Up: For VESA-mounted monitors or when a completely flat surface is preferred.

Align the tray's mounting bracket with the top of the main pole. Secure the tray using the provided hardware (e.g., wing nuts) to achieve the desired tilt angle. Ensure all connections are tight.

  4. Apply EVA Rubber Pads: If using the flanged side up for non-VESA equipment, apply the adhesive EVA rubber pads to the tray surface. These pads provide grip and prevent your equipment from scratching or sliding.
  5. VESA Mount Installation (Optional): If mounting a monitor, ensure the flat side of the tray is facing up. Attach the VESA 100x100 mounting brackets to the monitor using the appropriate screws. Then, secure the monitor with the attached brackets to the stand's tray using the provided hardware.

Maintenance

Troubleshooting

Stand is unstable or wobbly:
  • Ensure the tripod legs are fully extended and locked.
  • Verify that the stand is placed on a flat, level surface.
  • Check that the height adjustment knob and tray fasteners are securely tightened.
  • Confirm the safety pin is inserted correctly.
Equipment slides on the tray:
  • Ensure the adhesive EVA rubber pads are properly applied to the tray surface.
  • Verify the tray is level or slightly tilted backward if using the flanged side up.
Difficulty adjusting height or angle:
  • Loosen the respective adjustment knobs or fasteners sufficiently before attempting to move components.
  • Do not force adjustments; if resistance is met, re-check for obstructions or fully loosen fasteners.
Missing or damaged parts upon arrival:
  • Inspect all components immediately after unboxing.
  • Contact Gator Frameworks customer support with your purchase details for assistance.
