Setup
1. Battery Installation
- Remove the back cover of the phone by gently prying it open from the notch.
- Align the gold contacts of the 400mAh Li/ion battery with the contacts in the battery compartment.
- Insert the battery firmly into place.
- Replace the back cover, ensuring it clicks securely.
2. SIM Card Installation
- With the battery removed, locate the SIM card slot.
- Insert your SIM card into the slot with the gold contacts facing down and the cut corner aligned as indicated.
- Ensure the SIM card is fully seated.
3. MicroSD Card Installation (Optional)
- Locate the microSD card slot, typically near the SIM card slot.
- Insert a microSDHC card (up to 32GB) into the slot until it clicks into place.
- This card provides additional storage for photos, videos, and MP3 files.
4. Charging the Battery
- Connect the microUSB power charger to a power outlet.
- Connect the microUSB data cable to the charging port on your phone.
- The phone will indicate that it is charging. A full charge takes approximately 3 hours.
- Alternatively, the device can be charged via a computer's USB port using the microUSB data cable.
Operating Instructions
Power On/Off
- To power on, press and hold the Power/End Call button until the screen lights up.
- To power off, press and hold the Power/End Call button, then select "Power off" from the options.
Making Calls
- From the home screen, enter the phone number using the numeric keypad.
- Press the Call button (usually the green button) to initiate the call.
- To end a call, press the Power/End Call button (usually the red button).
Sending SMS Messages
- Navigate to the Menu and select Messages.
- Choose Create new message.
- Enter the recipient's phone number or select from Contacts.
